Funny the majority of the commentary was aimed at the Aussie audience to the point you could wander who the Raiders were playing.

Constantly praising their defense compared to the last few weeks.
Praising their attack which at times I thought was pretty basic.

All the while the Warriors are hanging in there. Frustrating though as mistakes at key moments as they were getting back into it. But the side just hung in there.

The commentary did get a "Tire the big Warriors forwards out" at one point in the first half. Five minutes before half time we miss a scoring opportunity and the Raiders have 3-4 players on their haunches taking in some big breathes.

Im starting to think Harris might be the best forward signing the Warriors have ever made. He never gets driven back and even in the worst situations when nothing is happening and Shaun Johnson is looking lost he get them rolling again.. and hes a strong defender on the edge

Yeah, he is fucking FLEXING on anybody that said he only looked good in the Melbourne system. If anything, he looks BETTER outside of it. One of the very few to do so.

Anyway, that game was a real shitter early, but one of the best Warriors comebacks of all time. A testament to commitment and fitness from the boys, even if there were a ton of flaws in the game. Thought we were unfairly hammered by the officials, but jeez ... imagine any other Warriors team conceding six penalties, two tries and a sinbin in the first 10 minutes? It would have been a cricket score. Not these lads though - that was special.

People will talk about us letting 19pts in, but two of those tries came with 12 on the field, while the third was arguably short + a double movement. We were ragged from lack of possession (57% to our 43%) but still scrambled JUST enough to leave the door ajar.

I'm far from happy with execution and discipline, but my elation at our commitment, grittiness and ability to ice a game that we had no right to win FAR FAR FAR supersedes it. We won't beat better teams with a display like that, but we have given ourselves a hell of a fucking platform to work off.

I got sick of my choppy not-live-anyway stream cutting out so just "watched" the last 5 minutes of the game via the NRL.com live stats page with clock counting down and I'll be damned seeing the score update in utter silence (just me and the cat here) as the minutes and seconds passed by was exciting as hell

Congrats boys, this is most pleasing.

Top 2 for the week regardless (pending Dragons spoiling our king of the mountain moment if they beat GC tomorrow)... so good!!

I thought it was a fantastic result given the head start the Raiders had.

It wasnt a great game from us though. Lots of improvement needed in our side or we are going to get bitten shortly for it.

Shaun Johnson, great clutch field goals but your game was missing for most of the first 75 minutes. Dancing around does nothing for the team. get back to running straight and taking the line on.

I wont tell you what I was yelling at the TV at the 72nd minute mark. Pretty much the same as at the end of the game but with a much different tone and meaning

The best opposition we've faced so far, refs against us, we hardly win in canberra, massive forward pack to deal with, leipana, cockit on the wing causing havoc, 12 men for 10mins, refs against us. best win a couple years for me. To top it off, That was the most calm, clutch DOUBLE field goals ive ever seen, Shaun Johnson great stuff, great win.

With the penalty count, lack of ball, Blair sent off.... last year we would have lost by 40. The change around is nothing short of amazing.

Still a fair amount of things to improve on - which, frankly, you want at Rd 3 if you're going to be a contender, no value in being your best first IMHO - but we are, as of now, top of the table.

There were times we'd have to turn the NRL Ladder 180 degrees to see ourselves top.

3-0. That means - based on history - you add the 2 points the Warriors get from the bye and say "28 points means we're finals bound. That's 10 wins required from 21. Very doable."

Just please, God, the Warriors team don't know how to add or multiply...

"One. Game. At. A. Time." and "We. Need. To. Be. Better"..

It's going to get boring and repititive (I hope), but I expect those are the Warriors' mantras for 2018
