Jazz was trash in the last 20 minutes of the Dogs game.. Threw a forward pass or two, and a couple errors/bad passes in there. He's an off the ball type guy though, busy as.

If he get's a spell at hooker, I bloody hope it's when the game is wrapped up, like what Cook has done in the past couple games. I'd say he's a defence player, that's for sure.

I watched Tevaga a bit last weekend in reserves and was not impressed but to be fair i'm guessing he may be there because he has been playing more minutes and his motor would be a bit bigger than some others at the moment, so i hope he does well. :)

He can cover hooker but can also spell a backrower - not a bad option, seeing as Luke went to 13 last weekend.

I love Jazz's service out of DH. Great success.

Never know. The pre season to rule them all may have had an impact on his dummy half service.

As an example - Bam Lissonay seems to be doing less dumb shit this season and got his first T R Y.

Kata - I'm biased against him but his advocates say that he has improved (plus can score a try or two).

Bully - not disinterested this year.

Cometh the time. Cometh the new trainer.

Hmmmm...

Pulu in the run-on 13 makes a lot of sense.
Cook has been largely redundant and so bringing Jazz on to the bench makes some sense strategically.
He may cover 9 if required (I hope not) but can be an extra body in the forwards unlike Cook. It would be nicer if he was in form (according to those who saw ISP).

I have always rated Paasi and hope he is physically up to it. He should be in our top 17 every week if fit.

Overall, not a bad team at all.

Leilua named in spite of having a sore sore ankle.

This Canberra team are low on confidence but not shy of points. But they do have a couple of challengers for hair don't awards.

I think it will be Jazz, it seems most likely due to versatlity, we are in the shit if there is a Back injury.

Cue the second rowers to the backline.

I think Harris will cover 3 4 6 and 7

Back 3 will be supplemented by 3 or 4 who will be covered by Harris.

I'm sure our fitness will be our backup plan. Ha

God there's some ordinary defenders in that line up- I can see us putting some points on them.
The key is going to be going with them at the start- they're big, desperate and at home so they're gonna come out firing.
I just can't seee them handling the offloads with Luke, Shaun Johnson and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck sniffing around the ruck.

All teams are aware of our offload rate this season so i expect to see the raiders send a player around the back of the tackles to curb that.

This could be a very interesting game to be honest, Canberra will be desperate for a win - i'm still picking warriors to win but think it will be a close game but i think our fitness will outlast them. But hey, we are all entitled to our opinions aye.

They will come out of the blocks really hard. We can't let them gain ascendancy. There bench provides a nice amount of impact like ours.
Defence will be a tester for them so as long as we can control possession and not make errors it should be a win.
Or we could get Shaun Johnson and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to ghost around papalii junior and Boyd , tire them out. Blair ball playing at them , they should start sweating fairly soon.

After watching Canberra in the weekend the key to stopping them is getting numbers on Shannon Boyd. The bloke seems to be 3 times bigger than everyone else. He reminds me of T Williams from the rage all stars on Lomu rugby.

We handled 3 times Burgess we should be able to handle 1 times Boyd
But yeah I know what you mean the dudes a beast.
His stats have him averaging only 10.5 hit ups over the 2 games but averaging 133 metres
Hopefully we run Boyd , Papalii, & Paulo around limiting their workload.
Really looking forward to seeing how the Warriors approach this game.
Jungle footy will surely fuck those 3 up but I'm hoping for a bit more structure.

I'm still watching the reply (Knights vs Raiders) and i got to about 22-20 mins left in the second half and theres this stoppage in play and as the boys are resetting one of the (prety sure it was) Knights walks back onside and as he does he trails a finger (hand) over one of the raiders butts. Now im watching this on my phone so its really hard to go back and replay it to see who it was. But heres the thing. The raider didnt even react, and i may be wrong but that looked so much like a caress to me (i assume designed to put him off or something...). Anyhow i found the whole thing very weird. Now this wasnt a poke or a grab, or a push it was much much more. If they were on the same team, i doubt i would have even noticed but being that they are opponents.

So maybe someone can identify the player, we can tell the team, and for a friendly pat on the bottom or two, the Warriors might be let go on a couple of tackles?

If his DH service wasn't burning holes in my cornea while I was trying to watch ISP on Saturday, I may well have been open to your optimism of Jazzy giving a crisp pass out in front of the reciever. However I have my fingers firmly crossed Kearney just has him at lock, so he can make use of his best attributes and pepper the opposition with his pitbull attitude.

Our boys have so far they won't back down.
