I blame Eric Watson.

I’m glad someone bought that up. Kicking stats without context are pretty much the most useless stat there is.
If you score a try off every set your kick meters will be terrible.
Some of u are so petty.
We were down on kicking metres right through the first half. Their kickers were keeping them in the game.I’m glad someone bought that up. Kicking stats without context are pretty much the most useless stat there is.

Easy, go top the game and watch the stats on your phone and stop watching blue movies with an ugly bastard as the star.Shit, imagine how grumpy the kick metres expert would be if that happened. Sack them all would be the only possible call.
The only things it shows is completing sets, which means you are controlling the game, if you have large kick metres with little errors and conversely the other team has huge errors, that should mean you are spending a lot of time in their red zone, but if you are not scoring it is pointless. Something we need to work on next year is our options in the red zone, we are getting so many chances but we generally try Fusitua, try a short ball, then put in what is not SJs strong point, a bomb to Fusitua. When green or lino place them its a bit better. but really we need to work on set plays, players in motion, reverse angles etc.I’m glad someone bought that up. Fusitua won didn't he, they said he got 1 more?

So yep, it can mean SFA
So we rolled the dice and played our best team and tried to finish higher than 8th. The other alternative would have been to rest 3-4 key players.
I am trying to evaluate if trying to win against Canberra gained or lost us anything given we didn't move up the table.
Gavet got injured during training
Mannering is out for what looks like 2-3 weeks minimum. But he was always going to play whether we or not we put a weaker side. Likewise Gavet we probably would have played him.
Luke got smoked with a head high tackle but returned to the match. So maybe he is ok.
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck had his left ankle heavily strapped late in the game but finished the match.
We are a bit worse for wear after the game but came through it ok. Warriors got a bit of luck.
If a team is making no errors and had high kick meters it means they are being dominated and aren’t making any meters in their sets.
yes that is another scenario. but mine still stands. teams who dont score, but have high completion rates, as does the opposition get high kick metres.
As long as they aren’t making any meters with the ball in hand that is.
Yes. High metres. 30-40m mark back and forth crap.
If a team is only making 30-40m per complete set then I would consider them being dominated.
