General NRL 2018 Round 25 - General Discussion

This was ALWAYS going to happen. Melbourne routinely rest their players when they have the minor premiership sewn up. Expect no favours from them in round 26.

Panthers have this one in the bag. So unless a miracle happens, we are likely going to be playing in Brisbane or Penrith next week.

Hope the Warriors learn a valuable lesson from this. Lose crucial games against teams well below you, and lose by 20-30 often enough and your for and against can decide your season.

Storm are in danger of losing the minor prem if the Rorters smash the eels

Not that impressed with the panthers.
I went to the storm game last week against the titans and they were terrible- they really miss nas in the middle of the field- his size and aggression is almost unmatched in the nrl- the only thing that got them home was some Munster magic and he wasn't there tonight either (no slater either obviously).
Don't get me wrong the panthers are a dangerous side (aren't all the top 8 sides) but I'd fancy our chances.

What needs to happen for us to get the Dragons?.....or has that boat sailed

Yeah Panther's or Bronco's at their whare?......i'd rather take on the Panthers.

A Wayne Bennett coached side is a different beast come finals....and at Suncorp?......tough.

Jimmy maloney in finals mode with Kikau and Blake outside him, gonna have a right battle on our hands. They made Kaufusi and Scott look silly who are defensively no slouches.

Looking at the ladder, we need the Broncos and Dragons to lose (and keep their current ladder positions); the Dragons losing margin to not be greater than 12 points over the Broncos losing margin (I hope that makes sense).

That edge is pretty make shift- u would usally have chambers and vunivalu there.
Panthers have some strike tho for sure. Theres no easy games coming up that's for sure.
Wouldn't want to be playing us either.
