Quite a few positives out of that game. Like the hard running from the forwards, defensively we weren't too bad as we were still getting numbers in the tackle towards the end.

Need a bit of a rocket on some of the attention to detail with some of the messy plays early on around the ruck. Things like not having a dummy half or the messy plays.

Overall we need to back this up next week and have this be the type of performance we see from now until the rest of the season.

Got the finals place locked up. Well earned.

The best part of where we are at at the moment is that we are heading into the playoffs with (touch wood), a full strength roster. We haven't really managed to do it this year, so it is very exciting. Our full strength team is top 4 easily, but we suffer from lack of depth when there are players missing.

As well as the obvious strengths of the top players, things like the luxury of having a newbie like Papali'i having a less demanding bench spot, or having a high impact forward as 17th player is priceless at finals time. Suddenly Tevaga becomes a luxury, Shaun Johnson has more space to run etc.

Good win boys.

Thank the baby lord jesus that we decided to turn up this week. Gonna buy my ticket tonight for the dirty South Stand next week, I reckon may be close to a sellout now that finals are confirmed.

Such a relief, those last two tries were a slight buzzkill but FINALS BABYYYY!!!!!!

SO notable that the Panthers only scored when Harris was subbed off. I also noted that Luke finished the game on the sidelines.

Wasnt it great to watch the whole team fire up. But above and beyond that seeing this SKs purchases dig in and push is so great. This would have to be the most experienced finals team the warriors have ever fielded. And watching Blair and Harris do the one percenters is what is going to make the difference this year.

Also felt that they were overdoing the live ladder thing a bit. As the broncos havent played yet and could still trump us back into 8th.

i was working it out the other day. All the players in the team that have played in a grand final.
Blair
Harris
Issac
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
Green (? as part of sharks)
Shaun Johnson
Mannering

7 players of which i think 5 have won a gong. I hope the young fellas learn everything they can about culture and composure under pressure from this group.

I need to do this.

Shaun, that is in my opinion, your best game in maybe 5 years. Strong in defence, and tough in attack. Didnt avoid the contact, and didnt run sideways.

Anyone else feel a little embarrassed at the fact we were all writing our season off long before kick-off? Its a dreadful thing to be a seasoned Warriors fan. Too timid to have any optimism.

Anyone know what Kens injury is, and how long he played with it? I noticed when Roger Tuivasa-Sheck patted him on the shoulder after he knocked the Panthers pass down that he winced badly then held his shoulder. After the game you cud see him in the background setting his jersey up to support his arm. Hopefully it was just a stinger or something.
