I apologise if its been mentioned but did anyone hear Ken at the end of the game when asked about his hit ups at the start of a set ! He basically said, well I dont see much of the ball during the game so I got to get my hands on it somehow. A slight dig at kata perhaps ? If so, he is spot on, kata rarely passes ! Crack up Ken LOL

i really dont care if he has a bruised ego over this. I care that as a team they won, not that one individual player scores more tries or less.

Has anyone considered that kearney needed a grub to rattle the Dragons as he knows the Refs cant be relied on to deal with it.

Maybe Lisone was given that role becausr he can do the cote role for a limited time and is expendable in suspension terms.

Satae is a young player and is back in for work ons and a break from NRL intensity. There is nothing to say he wont be back.

Jazz is also one of those in your face nothing held back players that get under the skin of opposition players.

Weird weekend of league, after watching those points fests on Sunday afternoon, you’d have to say our defence was outstanding, considering the fine conditions and top 4 opposition.

But if we had conceded 2 tries from late offloads, would be all “wrap up the ball you stupid so and so’s”

They stopped having Mannering pass the ball in the middle, which was good.

That fast start is the deciding factor for the season, seeing as at its been LWLWLWWLLWLLW since anzac day.

But, you win 3 of the final 4 will most likely get a home final – then you’ve got a good start and a good finish, which is exactly what the good teams do, and the opposite of what we've usually done.

Think it was Paasi....Paasi was called for it on the tackle that saw Vaughn come off the field.
That tackle was legal he went above the knees....I have no idea on Buntys citing.

I don't think the coaching staff will let that situation go on much longer. I hope not anyways...

It will probably be ken who takes a break tho, if either are stood down.

Hiku at 5 will be a better option for helping Kata lean how to set up his winger.

And I think everyone in the whole footy world knows how hard Kata would be to contain if he had a solid passing game.

Kata is never going to learn how to set up his winger, if he cannot do it now, he's never going to do it. He should play on the wing and become our new francis meli.

If it were a Union team I doubt any fan or Journo would abide this situation the way our sports press have little gumption about what really matters to their readership.

Bunty and Lisone cited... anyone see what Bunty did?

We must be the most cited team in the nrl considering what other teams players get away with

Every morning after the game I go to the NRL website to see what transgression one of our boys was cited for despite it going unnoticed 9 times out of 10 in general play.

I think SammyL should fight the charge and produce video/pictures of Frizzel and argue that if they aren’t prepared to cite/find Frizzel guilty they can’t find him and remain consistent.

Same if Bunty has been cited for excessive pressure being applied during a tackle, produce video of Blair’s back going backwards in the Broncos game and say if that’s not worth a suspension, neither is what Bunty was supposed to have done.

But then they’ve said they want the refs to insure kickers aren’t hit after they’ve kicked the ball to protect players like JT and Cronk yet our kickers continue to be hit late and nothing happens.

Thing about Lisone is yes he was on the end of a cheap shot from Frizell but from a team point of view he shouldn’t have reacted the way he did, it’s those kind of brain farts in his game that we all lament.

It wouldn’t matter if we were a point in front in a semifinal he still does it and gets penalised, the opposition know he’s a hot head and bait him accordingly, he’s too thick to realise it and too feckless to do anything about it.
