Thing about Lisone is yes he was on the end of a cheap shot from Frizell but from a team point of view he shouldn’t have reacted the way he did, it’s those kind of brain farts in his game that we all lament.

It wouldn’t matter if we were a point in front in a semifinal he still does it and gets penalised, the opposition know he’s a hot head and bait him accordingly, he’s too thick to realise it and too feckless to do anything about it.
He's not even intimidating or a player you would be scared of either.

He's no Tallis or Villa...not even a Gallen.

In theory he should have just started swinging like McCullough did with Satae, then he would have got Frizell sinbinned, as well as himself and we would have got the penalty.
In reality however he probably would have just got sent off and a possible ass kicking from Frizell lol

That would’ve been worthwhile viewing, often wondered if he’s got anything to back his gangsta hand signs ... my first thought is no.

i guess that depends on whether he was told to do it or not? something we will never know.

I think it was pretty clear it was retaliation for what happened a few moments earlier.

He’s a loose cannon at the best of times, I doubt he needed provoking by the leadership group to get some sort of payback, at 18-12 I’d say it’s more likely the opposite is true in that he was told ... “Sammy don’t go doin anything stupid now will ya” lol.

That was one of the most selfish things I've ever seen from a player. Gets a little tickle in the throat so decides to take matters into his owns hands knowing full well the game is in the balance and something so obvious like that can gift the opposition the ball in your 20 with a full set and only a few mins to go. I don't know if thats stupid but it was definitely selfish.

i really dont care if he has a bruised ego over this. I care that as a team they won, not that one individual player scores more tries or less.

Will you care this week if he does the same thing and starves a good winger of ball only to be a hog and not score and we go on to lose? Its not really a bruised ego when you have centers that cant seem to supply our wingers who are great finishers. Kata's ego is getting in the way. We need to good centers out there. That know how to draw and pass and set up our guys. Tries have really dried up and when we arent scoring regularly elsewhere then it is a major reason we lose. If we cant score points we cant make up for our defensive lapses.

Can anyone tell me how many minutes Gavet and Lisone played ?
It really did seem f$&k all !!
Only Mooks knows that one.
Gavet: 83 mtrs (30 post-contact), 10 tackles made, but he missed 4 so tackle efficiency low.
Lisone: 29 mtrs (14 post-contact); 9 tackles, none missed.

... and the puncher just got a fine from judiciary and Satae got carryover points.

Definitely the way to go as supported by the nrl

Congratulations to the Might Vodafone Warriors for this clinical and polished win over our perennial bunnies, the ST George Dragons.

A high quality performance by our well-oiled machine in the 2nd half where they totally dominated.
Loved seeing Jazz Tevaga and Sam Lisone out there showing their immense talent and skill, crucial to the win.

What a tremendous club we have, filled with incredible athletes.

I am loving every moment of this season, it is just a pleasure to be a faithful Warriors fan.

Good man

Kata is not the only one who can pass to the winger. Hes an imminent threat whenever hes near the ball, so the opposition always number up on him, if their numbering up on him that means theres a gap somewhere that can be exploited. Are there better centers, yea sure, are there any in the warriors. IMO no.

But it doesnt really matter to me, what matters is that in a winning side, one of the players was more worried about being butt-hurt than talking up his brothers in arms. This is the attitude that caused 6 years of disappointment. They need to shake that shit off, deal with it at training and learn to love what opportunities they get during the game. I read to much of the coach dont know what hes doing, hes an idiot etc etc. Fer fuck sake hes not blind he knows what hes got in Kata and keeps him out there to do a job. Given results this year, its my belief that hes getting it right. But if Ken starts bitching and moaning in public, whats he saying in private and how does that affect the rest of the team.?

Brothers and Fellas,

I have sad news to report. It was earlier understood that if Afoa pleaded guilty they would relinquish the one game ban. That does not appear to be case according to this

https://www.nrl.com/news/2018/08/03...being-charged-for-pulling-adam-elliotts-hair/

"Afoa will front the judiciary on Tuesday night to challenge a possible one-match ban for dangerous contact to the head/neck in the 47th minute on Dragons forward Leeson Ah Mau."

He has pleaded not guilty

Has anyone ever pleaded not guilty and won? I don't think this is a good tactic by Afoa. Plead guilty next time. I hope this isn't a religious stand or something where he is doing it on the principle of the thing.

Lisone 2 games.

The best thing about no home finals games, is we suck ass at home this year.

Our best chance to win the thing is only having away games at knockout time.

I have watched the replay a few times trying to find the contact , but can't find it. He must think he isnt guilty. Anyone here seen the ' incident'?.

Did you look at the 47th minute specifically.

I mean if he loses they may double the penalty. I am confounded as to why he has pleaded innocent.
