General NRL 2018 Round 19 - General Discussion

It's unbelievable;ievable how Sharkies have been the beneficiary of two dubious wins - over us in Round 16 and now the Raiders - wish they could be docked 4 competition points the cheating c**ts.
Its 3 dubious wins. The Raiders have had 2 games stolen by the refs when playing the Sharks this year. Im pretty sure they got an official apology last time too.

Its like there has been a decision to get the Sharks well into the finals. Its a bit the same as how the Sharks can always afford the big signings, no matter how many big stars they have. Almost like the NRL owes them something.

Sharks fans will tell you they were “owed” a decision after an incorrect forward pass try was awarded against them a few weeks back (70th minute when they were already behind mind you) that supposedly cost them a game. Funny how you never see the Warriors/Titans/Raiders awarded wins off game changing calls...
This season you have seen apologies over result determining calls to the Tigers, Raiders and Warriors(may be others) that’s way too many and to be honest only the blatant game deciders. Something has gone very very wrong

Sharks fans are a nasty hateful bunch anyway. Horrible fans for a horrible club.

I guess it comes down to location and hierarchy of clubs (at least to the NRL). Most of the hard-done-by clubs are outside the stronghold, or without the preferred players (think Cameron Smith, Slater, Thurston, Gallen, Sam Burgess, DCE, etc and clubs like Melbourne, Brisbane, Roosters). The clubs who get the rub of the green are also the clubs allowed to do as they please to get ahead (salary cap breaches, bringing back banned players, off-field scandals going unpunished, etc).

The whole administration needs torn down and rebuilt from the bottom up. The RLPA seems to have just given those same players and clubs more power, rather than an across the board improvement to the "product".

Used to seeing Manly run up a score half time on a Sunday afternoon at Brookvale. Getting a taste of some of their own medicine from the last 10 years or so.

Some good work by the Roosters.
