Raiders thrash Cowboys...i think the last game of season Warriors vs Raiders is going really hurt a lot of forum members on here. I think the end of season slide has begun and tomorrow will b 3 on the trot.

Too much negativity on this forum. Not surprising after years of disappointment but we're still 10/16, much better than in previous years. We were robbed against the sharks and just had a shocker against the Panthers because of complacency. Win tomorrow and we're back in the ball game at tied 4th. We always bounce back from shockers. I trust the boys.

I agree, the way people have turned saying SK is the worst coach we are horrible etc etc is just overkill. We are all disappointed here but it is not as bad as it seems

Yup flew in Thursday night weathers been great

I don't know if many here were watching the Raiders game last night but the commentary was disgusting. They wouldn't have gone 2 minutes at any stage of the game and post-match without mentioning how the Raiders just need to keep winning to overtake the Warriors.

At that stage the Raiders were behind us by the same number of points as we are away from the minor premiership
2 other teams are on the same points as us, but we were the only ones it is possible to catch?

I know form is a big indicator, and PD and there are skeletons in the closet, but they should be ashamed for that sort of commentary, which seemed agenda based.

It is very agenda based and it is why we are going to get raped by the refs from here on out. It started against the Sharks. The NRL want the raiders having a run and making the 8. It is a great story and what the NRL want.

Agreed. The NRL is run by a bunch of cronies in suits only interested in profits. I called it earlier that the Raiders will come storming home to make the 8. What I didn't call was that it was going to be at the Warriors expense.

We have seen the resilience shown through out games this year, so we have it in us.

My only concern is that we are light in the forwards.

Would we be as negative if we had Harris, Afoa and Pulu lining up for this week? Probably not.

Shaun Johnson, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Ken, Fusitua, Luke and Green all have to step up and play some set play football scoring from outside the 20. Without 3 of our best forwards we need our backs to stand up and more use of our ball players. You look at those names and you wonder how we dont score 8 tries a game. Because SK is tying us down to playing defense and strictly game management to the 20, then scoring from the 20. Which is a good plan, but you need your super stars to be able to score from long range.

Fn Storm win by 1 pt again, its getting painful how these other teams are winning by a couple of points.

Ken Beale, sure he will stand up . But speaking of using our backs Beale is just as good as anyone.

Our backs easily match theirs. And Id say so does our starting forward line. Both packs have a weak bench. I think we still need to get some yardage from Kata and Fusitua, but our starting forwards better be metre eaters today.

I noticed, it made me cringe. I don't really believe in conspiracies but ratings wise looks like they are all in to get us out of the 8-NRL, commentators, bookies. Even when we were entrenched in the top 4, we were always perpetually dismissed as contenders. It's ok so long as we make them eat their words by going deep into the semis.

I reckon Luke will shock the crap out of them in dummy half runs, ok Cook is the current super star but Luke is 90% of his best which is plenty. Luke dummy half run, Johnson running back on the left through a gap, looks to pass to Beale but no look back hand pass to Roger Tuivasa-Sheck back on the inside, 80m try.

Oates and Boyd are who worry me the most from their team.

Lisone must have taken a crap outside SK's home. His exile is so mystifying. He would be a handy bench player for limited minutes against bigger packs.

I think it was more SK finally saw he wasnt having much impact.

Gelling is a good choice, hes a big back, so he can cover some of the forwards if need be as well. But then you could say Lawton covers every position from hooker to wing. I guess covering the forwards is important given we down on some of our best.

Yep, been saying this since they started their run, if it ends up they have to beat the warriors to play in the 8, they have earnt it with their run in. is a little like our first half season.

We need to beat the broncos, cant afford to leave our wins needed too late. can accept some losses. but we can beat any team and it needs to start now. we still have a good starting forward pack and arguably the best spine in the game.
