Gave the game win today A.
Was a Solid win, would have been A+ if we had kept them scoreless, which is a double edge sword, as there is noway in hell that try was scored...... But hey, what's done is done. GREAT GAME TODAY.

Do the Broncos fans that we've entertained since the last loss now have to wear a Warriors avatar for a week on their forum?
Yes bro ... It's my understanding that was the wager that was made

Albeit by an executive decision as apposed to a more democratic process like say a members vote ... talking to you admin / mods :p

tajhay or mt.wellington can you confirm this ???

Cos I've popped over & had a look at Broncos HQ & so far no beautiful Warriors banner to be seen

If that was the deal they better not renege or I'll get my hacker mate to obliterate their forum ... kiddin ... or am I ???

Really important win today in the context of the season, it was crucial to stop the bleeding particularly with the Raiders starting to get going.
Much like our wins earlier in the season everyone was putting in and playing with intent.
Hard to single anyone out but Paasi had a huge game, he's been a fantastic addition this year, Isaac Luke was once again outstanding and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck for his try saver on Oates early in the game deserves a mention, when he makes plays like that everyone else seems to grow an extra leg.
Not a perfect game but we stepped it up in the forwards and created and finished plenty of scoring chances, as well as defending strongly and came away deserving winners.
Didn't agree with the Satae sinbinning but thought the refs overall were much more consistent with their calls today than what we've had recently.
Gave it an A+ due to how important this game was combined with the manner of the victory. No major injuries by the looks of it is a nice bonus as well.

Roll on Melbourne.

Can someone with a more in depth knowledge of modern day rules enlighten me here

In my mind a forearm to the throat / face is a penalty with the player in question being put on report at worst ( pretty sure it was a forearm more so than an elbow which is different )

I also thought in this day & age a punch thrown & landed or in this case 3 or 4 punches was an automatic send off ... eg: The Gallen Rule lol

If so why was McFuckstick only binned & why was Satae also sent for 10 when he didn't retaliate ???

Either way I thought the big fullah & the rest of our boys showed good discipline & restraint not to retaliate

In saying that I was literally screaming for Satae or any of our boys to drop that dog shot cu** ... but that's just how I roll lol

Seeing as how Scott got sent off for punching Walker, McCulloch should've been sent off too. However, Scott punched Walker like a boxer while McCulloch punched Satae like he was foxy boxing. 10 minutes is the max you can give for punches that bad, I'm not sure that Satae even knew he'd been punched.

Yeah Satae was like, seriously? is that what you call a punch? Try growing up in South Auckland on a Friday night then we'll talk.

Surely in the context of the rules a punch is a punch though ... right ???

Shouldn't matter as to the effectiveness of the technique ... it's the intent behind it ... isn't it ???

Agreed though ... McFuckstick had about as much technique & power in his punch as a heavily sedated malnourished primary school girl

Actually that's a bit harsh ... on primary school girls that is lol

Also thank christ it wasn't closer so the learned panel of walters, parker and hodges couldn't start barracking for a comeback, walters gave it a "this games not over yet" mate, your team has been awful, try putting the boot into them, like yous do to every other team wombling about at 0-20.

That made me laugh- 26 nil and Walters goes- if the broncos can score here it's game on bahahah.
I was driving home from the sunny coast so listened to the first half on the radio and it sounded like we should've been ahead by a lot more but kept bombing tries and got a couple tough calls from the refs (and it was an all qld call team including former bronco Ben hannant).
They were shocked satae got ten and were all of the opinion he done nothing wrong (I haven't watched the replay yet).
I did watch the second half on tv tho and gawd it was biased.
Can't they get some neutral farking commentators?
Having Luke Lewis commentate on the sharks game last week took the cake.

What was everyone's opinion on the hiku sin bin too?
Looked for all money like isaako was gonna pick that up but ended up catching it on the boot- I would've gone to tackle him in that scenario too- even looked like hiku tried to pull out when he realized he didn't catch it.
It was a penalty but a professional foul?
Thought he might've been a bit hard done by there (not that it mattered).

So because SK moved Hiku do we expect him to be left out and Beale to right Centre next week? If not surely he is just contradicting himself as Beale could have easily gone straight to left wing

Will go through and read everybody's posts but just wanted to highlight Roger Tuivasa-Sheck attacking the ball carrying arm when Oates went for the corner.

It's the way to go with all the flyers being airborne these days.

Proud of Paasi getting a reward for a great season so far.

Happy with Bully.

Happy with straight running.

Happy with McCullough's intimidation over Satae. Satae looked absolutely terrified.
