Absolute pitiful second half. Shaun Johnson was our best player, even taking hitups towards the end.

Forwards lack punch and fitness seems to be getting worse not better. We looked like we had absolutely had enough by 45 mins into that game.

Parts of the first half were superb.
That second half was utter crap!! We were letting the cows roll through us running 70+m per set where we struggled to get more than 35m!! We are just lucky that the cows are shite!!

And for the first time in my life I’ve seen a ref want to stop the game to put someone on report for something that happened 6 tackles earlier!!!!!

League is an amazing sport to watch and origin and last nights game was a great show of that. Tonight just killed it again. Ref intervention. Poor calls. Bad calls going all over the place. We played arse too. Glad we got the two points but we will be smashed next game easy once we rest kiwis players.

Johnson and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck had huge games tonight. Hiku started poorly but had a big game defensively. Kata well ummm yeah.

Gritty win ... we would've been blown off the park with a 2nd half like that in previous seasons

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck magic, exceptional line defense late in that 2nd half & Johnson's overall kicking game won us that one

Worst game I've seen from Green in a Warriors jersey so far

Should never have been as close as it was but gotta applaud that defensive effort in an otherwise shitty second half.
Special shout out to Shaun Johnson with the final clutch play but also putting in the hit ups and tackles he shouldn’t have to make

we got beaten by gang tackling and line speed in the second half. boys gotta find a way to combat that cause the storm, roosters and souths did that to us.

We won in Nth Queensland for the first time since 2002, we had to contend with a committed Cowboys and retarded refs.

Not a vintage performance, but we got the two points.

Obviously 2nd half wasn’t great but we toughed it out. Genuine test of our grit on D.
After season upon season of capitulations, I’ll take it.

Well done warriors. Good to see them pick up the win at Townsville. Having Lawton on the bench really paid off and i think that some of the last tackle options, namely the kicks to the 10m were really good and got them out of trouble.

2nd half was tough to watch and i thought they probably let the cowboys in with all the stupid errors but they found a way to close it out so I gave them a B.

Man of the match was the sound guy, that guy was on it all night coming out with the hits.

Johnson has been given a lot of grief for his goal kicking over the years. Some of those game have been fear has he has had games where he has missed a few or some you would call sitters.

Tonight his goal kicking probably won us the game (and our defence).

Tonight a 100% record against Thurston who hooked a few. Usually you would expect it to be the other way around.

Turning point in that game and it almost cost us was the Beale "knock on"...changed all the momentum and gave the Cows an undeserved opportunity to get back into the game. The refereeing this year has been nothing short of atrocious.
