The damage was done in the first half and it wasn't his attack but his poor defence that you might wanna go back and watch the game for. TBF he wasn't the only one getting targeted on our flank but the tactic of hiding him inside the winger so he doesn't have to square up in the middle was sorely exposed...
Yep so i did just that, Missed tackles entire game FOUR. Busted bro :) Lets fire Green as well he missed 4. Its pretty hard to go through the whole team but Blair missed 5, Tevaga 4, Ken 4..... Im not sure who was the worst but across the board all but Luke missed a tackle.

Again, picking on Mason and blaming him for that first half is just not warranted.

Speaking of Ken, his tackle efficiency is down around 63%........

If anything id be hiding Ken behind Mason.

He shouldn't be blamed for the loss (and I don't think anyone really is) anymore than he should be credited for the wins he's been apart of... Team efforts, both ways!

Totally agree. Although he should be noted as being one of the best players in the wins, and if he was one of the worst in the storm game, but he wasnt, he played quite well with the little ball we had and to come back to 2 tries each in second half he held his own. There is always a scapegoat and people want Lino not to be succesful. Unfortunately he is and we are bloody lucky with Johnson needing 30-50% off each year with "niggles" that we have such a good homegrown half. And we have another following who I think might be our next big thing. One thing NZ never has lacked on, producing good halves.

This rain is a worry. Definitely an up the middle game. Luckily thanks to Corvs we have the fitness to play in the wet.

Expecting a high error count from both teams, if they dont get washed away haha.

Completions will be key which is a Warriors strength thanks SK 2017.

Kicking game another strength equalled by Roosters.

Wet weather DH vital. Massive advantage Friend v Luke.

Bench looks good for us. Lawtons speed will be good.

Back 5 love doing hard yards. Perfect night for Kens step.

As long as they have right attitude they should win easily.

Ken steps ???

I don't know if it's already been mentioned here yet but here's the jerseys the team will be wearing against the Rorters for the indigenous round ...

Those jerseys are O for oarsome IMO & hardcore remind me of those Tribal Tees that were so popular back in the day

I gotta say ... I'm loving this new emphasis the Warriors have finally put on Tikanga Maori this season

As far as we know Australian Indigenous Aboriginal Culture is one of the oldest living human cultures on earth & rightfully deserves celebration

But Maori / Polynesian culture & in particular the Warrior aspect of Maori / Polynesian culture is just so much better suited IMO to a physically confrontational game like Rugby League & given just how many Maori / Polynesian there are in the NRL it stands to reason that our culture should have a far more visible presence in the indigenous round

I remember Blair saying in an article awhile back that a bunch of them from the Warriors ( including Kearney if I remember correctly ) are doing Te Reo courses as well & I'm also loving that the Maori boys in the team have made a point of listing their respective Iwi for the indigenous round ... great to see & long may it continue

They don't count the tackles where you just get run around. Go watch the game or do you just watch the live stats page???

Lukes huge for us...he is finally that player from Souths that we used to joke would never come here....the best player in New Zealand.

This game just turned into an even contest, a real shit fight.

I am pleased Lawton gets a full run he is good enough, this week he will be allowed to take the training wheels off and run from DH.

Vete....meh

People don't want Lino to fail. They just think you are a Muppet for rating Lino ahead of Johnson.

I would also have to disagree with you about New Zealand producing good halves. Sure we have produced Freeman, Stacey, Benji , Crazy eyes, Johnson and Foran. But we rarely have any depth and usually just one international quality half at anyone time.

One of these isn't like the others.

Give me Lino over TL any day of the week

What does the bench look like now if Lawton gets the 9 jersey?
