Mannering Paasi and Vete would make a massive difference to that lineup

I am surprised with Kata/Ken - i thought they had their chances last year and it was them Kearney was referring to in the "they weren't really up to NRL level" so who was he actually alluding too? U can't fault Maumalo for trying but he has feet for hands and don't get me started on Kata - i really thought that these two would be reserve graders this year. :-(Is Ligi Sao a fantasy trap? He played big minutes in the trial, or is he holding the lock spot off Paasi/Mannering..
No one should be surprised really with Kata and Ken. If they don't perform, kick their arses out of the side for good. They got enough chances last year IMO, especially holding out guys like Ashyford and Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad who have out performed them time after time.
Vete must be injured. Good on Papalii, I think he's too green and small, hope he proves me wrong.

Angus Chrichton claimed him as a bitch last time they played. I reckon he will be after him again. As for Maumalo....we need him peeps....
Probably but we have the same old problem of poor meters in the pack....one of the things I've had to adjust to about our recruitment and development is that we don't know how to make Props grow to their peak....if you look at the Warriors staffers Wiki is who we rely on for expertise there.....and he is a blown up cruiser weight....a former center.....Jerry Seuseu should have been the guy that teaches young huge humans how to use their size in the way he did.....but I suspect just like Dean Bell who was our greatest center....they have not been engaged to teach or have nfi on how to teach the do as I did.Angus Chrichton claimed him as a bitch last time they played. Ken - Yardage. Where else do we get it from? Watch the trials, the only time we dominate in attack is when Ken gets us on the front foot. Shouldnt be that way but thats what we have. Why on earth do Ken and Kata keep getting picked?? Possibly the worst left edge in the NRL.
It's amazing the lack of comment in game day threads when Ken stepped two players and set up a roll on that we scored off.I dont think many of us have inflated hopes for this year and Mannering might not be here next year so gettting used to not having him might be better for us in the long run.

Kata - his defence and hope that he finds 2016 form on attack I am guessing.
I suspect the only reason he is on death row and not being buried in an unmarked is that Kearney thinks he can make him like him....talent that can be part of the attack ala SK Jones....the promised change of style...Lisone ,
Hope he finds consistency and makes an impact this year.
Lost faith in him last year with his erratic form.
Must train hard to get named.
