Walked early... Disappointing!
Too many errors. Too many dumb plays/players.
Multiple short kicks to add unnecessary pressure in your own 30 is going to kill the legs, moronic strategy.

Panthers strangled the life out of us in the second, Maloney too good.

Fuck it.

Summary:

Kata's fucked up play of the balls, plus Luke's kick out killed our momentum.

I love Shaun Johnson. But that cu** did not show up.

Wtf.

Biggest hiding of the year...maybe not point wise (thanks to our good defence), but we were totally owned. Schooled in every facet.

Panthers were brilliant. Exposed every weakness we have. We weren't willing to roll up the sleeves and play finals footy. Too many shortcuts, not enough structure, not enough muscle off the bench.

The players looked overawed and lacking belief from too early on in the match.

Disappointing end to a promising season.

As soon as I saw Shaun Johnson leave a huge trench in the field off a failed sidestep I knew it wasn't going to be our night.

But some of those brain farts... Fuck me drunk.

Green and Shaun Johnson completely outplayed by their halves - we were still tossing up aimless bombs at the end, whereas Panthers were playing absolute masterstrokes the whole second half.

Cannot believe a Tevaga hit up was basically the go-to play for the second half.

No second phase, no quick play the ball, no life. I am absolutely filthy after all this talk that they wouldn't let the big occasion get to them.

Hugely disappointing result tonight ... but I'm still relatively content with our season overall

I won't be slagging any players or coaches etc ... I'll leave that to the Keyboard Warriors

We've still made some significant gains this season & for me it's still been more enjoyable overall than the last 7 seasons combined

What I will say is Simon Mannering definitely deserved a better finish to his stellar career ... at least they won his 300th I suppose

That's our season done whanau ... please try not to turn on each other when the inevitable venting begins ... but if you feel you must ... at least make it entertaining lol

It was totally over as a contest when the Panthers got up 18-12. We didn't fire a single shot in the second half.

I don't have anything to say apart from between Beale and Kata in the team, or a bullet - shoot me now. Both of them are fucking useless.

Full credit to Jimmy Maloney - getting up from that hit and icing the game. Nervey play and no real game plan from our guys. They looked wiped out after 20 mins and didn’t seem to recover. The commentators were overcooking it though - the Panthers were good but not brilliant, they just dealt with the occasion and nerves better and stuck to a game plan. I wouldn’t mind if we’d just lost to an eventual Grand Final team - but I don’t see the Panthers getting that far...

I don't usually bag Shaun Johnson and our forwards didn't really create much ruck speed for him. But come on man atleast get in there, get your hands on the ball and try create something it's do or die footy.

The wheels fell off after Blair's failed offload on the 3rd. All down the gurgler from that point really.

Don't like Penrith, but congrats Maloney you're a genuine big game player.

like a part of me wants to believe that this being our first final in 7 years just overwhelmed us and we'll be better for it next year
