I watch Mook's IV and he just prattles out the same Hyperbole and cliches we have been hearing for the last 5 years! He blames the unsettling of Foran as an excuse to the pre game prep! surely he can see that his non start had nothing to do with us losing. Then just to do my head in the fool says after 20 minutes we were 20-2 down then WON the last 60 minutes 12-6 for fucks sake why treat us like idiots all the damn time. Then he is laughing and joking it makes me vomit! He then says the reserves turned our game around and how are they rewarded? Pine Time, why bother, the Titans have missed a run but they will run riot, lets see who is the most desperate come game time!

Maybe his argument is the reserves turned the game around because they didn't start the game. IE the best thing for them is to get on at 20 minutes/whenever deemed the right time rather than starting them off?

The dumb thing SK did last week, as I've said on here, was play Blake Ayshford after he'd already played 80.

to be fair its not just SK. every coach since Ivan has been on my shit list

Remember when Mr McLennan's signing was greeted with "Look at what he's done with the Kiwis! He's an upgrade on Cleary!"? I was never pro or anti - stuck on the fence until it was obvious he was shit - but those wonderful days of early 2012.....

For what it's worth, Wayne Bennett ie League Coaching God Himself would be on my shit list until he proved himself with the Warriors...

After what happened last week there's no way they're going to play Hingano in ISP.

Even if he's named, Foran's no sure thing until he gets through the arduous warm up portion of the game.

The Titans ain't no joke. They scored 26 against the Cowboys last week while we would've received a serious spanking.
I'll be watching of course but expecting the worst, while 'hoping' Foran is the messiah even ol Benny Elias reckons he's gonna be for us..
Round 5 and the ho hum's already kicked in..farkn ell Warriors! :banghead:

Still getting $2.60 for the Titans, I can't believe the Warriors are such short favourites! 1.87 for a 5.5pt head start. I have developed tourettes already this year and I am going on the undateables to get something outta all this.

If I actually had a spare $100 that was in my wallet and wasn't worried about losing it, I would definitely take those odds

Speaking of odds, a bad omen for the Warriors is that so far 2 out of the 3 games have gone the way of the underdogs this round

It was either play Ayshford (18th man) or go into the game with 16 available players, chop and change positions and muck up what Team structure was left after having your 5/8 pull up injured 5 mins before kick off.

I swear some of you piss on SK for the sake of it.

I expect Foran to play
But not expecting him to do much but be a steady influence

The NRL table has a familiar look about it going into round 5
Broncos 2 wins from 5 sitting in 8th spot
6 teams sitting on 2 wins 3 of them in the 8

And the Warriors sitting at 14th on 2 points @ $23 odds to clean up
Even this early we have that all too familiar "needing this win to stay in touch" feel about us

I think the mistake was picking an 18th man who'd already played in the first place. Especially since we had a few players coming back from injury. You'd think our 4 coaches with all their experience would know better.

According to Veitch Foran had his fitness test at 9am this morning. Guess we will find out the results when the squad is trimmed to 19 this afternoon/evening.

That unfortunately won't tell us jackshit, because we all know even if he didn't pass the test, we know that SK will include him on the 19 players just to try and mess with the opposition. A bit of a stupid attempt to try and throw the opposition off their game by claiming that Foran will play and then pull him out the hour before the game when the full team is to be announced. The way we play, it would be better to just come out and say who is really going to play, as I'm sure the other teams don't change their game plan too much against the Warriors, as they probably feel they don't need to.

Backing up the next day is no excuse to drop ball and misread the defence, some Footballers play 4 games in a week and the State of Origin players back up no problems, so Ayshford had NO excuse, cry me a river, try fighting drunks for a living. sooks, excuses, get a real job then.

I think no matter who they selected as 18th man they would have played the day before.

Usually the 18th man stays with the First Grade squad but sometimes they do play the lower grade game too (ISP or U20s) as was the case with Ayshford.

The mistake here was they were so confident in Foran playing that they brought Aysh in as a formality more than anything. Also, the ISP are top of the table and played last year's Champs so would have wanted to field a strong side.

End of the day no one could have foreseen Foran being a late scratch besides the League gods who hate us.
