Thing is you take a lot of these great players for granted but when they are out for a long time or are about to retire you realise how much you are going to miss watching them.Damn Slater's good... have actually missed watching him play.
No problems now with the tide turning and the 40/20 from Smith the Storm are getting in to gear. The last two Storm tries have come from backs doing simple settling plays and going through the middle of the Tigers. Weak defence.
Tigers looked really good - for the first 30 minutes - and then normal service resumed with the Storm piling on 22 unanswered points.Tigers on top of Melbourne early.
Pisses me off watching them play so well after getting JT sacked. Bunch of losers.
He had a nice run from inside his in goal about 10 minutes ago. That would have lifted his side a bit instead of defending the outside backs can come in and take a few settlers, they make ground and get a kick away and earn field position. Beats having to backup for another 6 on defence. It's helped the storm out big time that Slater has made a couple of pretty big plays at the back too!
What they need is four the big for to lead them out of this. Oh wait.Tigers looked really good - for the first 30 minutes - and then normal service resumed with the Storm piling on 22 unanswered points.
