Meh.....

Looks like same old same old, but if they can't get up and put in a massive effort for Mannering then there's probably nothing that will motivate them.
Refer back to the game they played in Nelson where Mannering took the captains armband for one final time last year. That performance and result should give a good indication of how much the players play for each other.

Funny, I didn't hear the commentary team give Sao a wrap once in the NSW Cup sides demolition of the Tigers on the weekend. Looks like experience is going to be the winner when it comes to our pack under Kearney.

Foran, if he's made the 22 then I expect that he's fit and Kearney will play him, he's mad if he doesn't.

Very disappointed that Lolohea is there the most, guy shows no real ticker and rewarded with a starting spot again - no wonder these guys get complacent.

I have no problem with the backline.

Can we please announce the signing of two cheap but hardnosed heaps fit 115 - 125kg props and one Hingano skilled backrower and one Fijian winger?

Please please?

So basically he may or may not play.

Fuck this 20 man bench nonsense.

I find it concerning guys are not getting recognition for outstanding NSW Cup performances (CNK), and guys like Lolohea are getting picked week in week out.

Hopefully it will not be the story the entire season..

How long before CNK says I want to go. Clubs would be looking at him

Isn't CNK recently back from injury? What makes u think that one game of good play equals a FG appearance? I know people want him out there, or more dont want Lolo, but one game at his age doesnt equal a FG contract. Thats the mistake that the warriors have been making for years.

Its even worse when you pick 8 guys on the bench , then trim it to 4 on the bench come gameday.....and only use 3 ?
Find it really quite disheartening that SK is only going to use his same team week in week out, All the bullshit that people have to fight for their spot as others are breathing down on them ? Hope they get fucking thrashed this weekend to see what his next crap excuse will be.

Awesome news ! For me Kieran Foran is only thing that's keeping dream alive, so if he has been cleared to play I can't wait to see what he will do in the halves with Johnson. Hopefully with Kieran Foran now controlling ball more instead of just Shaun Johnson he can free up some space for him to score more and run some more creative attacking plays. Dude, I know I am asking a lot out of one player but I really hope Kieran Foran inclusion into our side is what will finally turn our season around so I am really hoping that rumours are true and he is cleared to play. Let's go NZ Warriors ! :)
The forwards have to get some momentum otherwise Foran will struggle. Just look how quiet JT was last weekend against Manly. We need some tough and rough energy from the team as a whole.

if 1-17 run out Kearney is more out of his depth than even facefacts says he is.

how do you drop Lolohea, then put him in at fullback, then back in at wing. Tui hasn't performed either drop him to NSW cup or stick with him. None of this could be, may be shit.

I know they seem to want to keep fusitua at centre but him +LOLohea < Blake +Fusitua

CNK must be getting close to a call up. Must only be match fitness keeping him out.

Foran might push Clark off the bench. Which is a shame because Luke needs a spell, he is not an 80 minute hooked anymore

I like gubb but we desperately need go forward. Gavet please?

Ive been thinking about this alot. and i wonder if it comes down to SK is choosing the best 2 wings that he thinks he has. He was willing to stand down Lolo, when Manu was coming back. But without him Lolo gets to play.

Given that we have never seen Lolo and CNK side by side competing in the same comp its fair to say that the only person who has been able to compare them is SK. Now im not saying hes right, but what if we put CNK out there and hes worse, we kill his chances of developing into the player we all hope he will be (maybe even this year). Sometimes you gotta stick with a draft mule while you allow your foal to grow, but foals grow fast.

But they havent, SK has been running him on the wing. Totally wasted imo.

flying coconut

Told ya Kearney wouldn't change anything, he is known to be stubborn as a mule as sees making changes as admitting he was wrong which he is never prepared to do

You're probably right but 3 below par games don't warrant a 4th straight selection. In saying that, CNKs form has picked up from where it left off last season. What's more disappointing is that SK is showing too much faith to the "ol faithful" rather than having the balls to draw the line in expected standards and reward those from the winning ISP Cup team.
