Why can I, as some guy who hasn't played football since he was 10, know all of these things and 13 professional footballers can't?

Probably cause you read my post and they didn't? :D

ps. you forgot to mention how our forwards stood up and that it was the spine that lost us the game ;)

Haha I did see you'd already basically said everything thing I wanted to say, but it still made me feel better to type it out myself :D

Not sure if the forwards were that great though or Manly were just shit.

Well our wingers and fullback had good games. I know he is a divisive figure on this forum but Maumalo is one of my few positives of this season. Tevanga had a decent stint too but would look better on an edge or as a utility bench player, not as a prop rotation.

On the flip side, what was the point of Foran in this game/season. He ranks up with the Jeff Robson signing for me, maybe even worse because there was at least logic in the Robson signing.

I really hope the Warriors coaching staff don't think this way, Maumalo is a Vatuvei clone, a battering ram from the back. Vatuvei was a better finisher. In terms of skill, CNK and Fusitua have it all over Maumalo, both are good in the air and brilliant finishers. I dont think Fusitua is centre, he just disappears in that position.

Because Doyle thinks he is as good as Lionel Messi, honest. Talk about retards, Doyle is the most retarded. Of the all dumb things I saw yesterday that was the most retarded.

In fairness Maumalo has a bit of a step in his game as well. And the question is if Maumalo didn't take those hit ups, who else would?

It also seems Doyle is unwilling to admit a mistake either. I fully expect him to say this year has been a success at some point

That's a common trait amongst fools and narcissists. I'm not sure which one Doyle is, however I'm absolutely certain which category the major shareholder falls into. I genuinely implore anyone that is seriously thinking about investing in this club as a minority to Eric Watson - please do your research first.

Kata if SK experimented with him on the wing. CNK or even Ashford??

Nothing to play for.

Start testing out a few different combos for next season and you might surprise yourself Stephen.

Enjoyed the game. Disappointed that we lost after a good effort.
Agree with comments above on Kata, what a time to pick in the season to make a pass...duh??

But just drives me nuts to watch Shaun Johnson's kicks from penalties, even with a howling gale behind him, he sets himself up for a 10-15m kick. What the...

The ball very often goes another 20-30 m over the touch line. Why the hell cannot he try to kick 25-30m and stop wasting the first 4 tackles of the next set getting the extra 20 m??
Totally agree, other 7s just kick deep and long(like porn) I think this whole team is just playing SKs process, but surely any fuckin idiot can see that you use the wind to your benefit?

Ken is only second to Roger Tuivasa-Sheck for metres made, tackle breaks and runs. I really think him and CNK would give us good balance on the wings, Fusitua in the centres and either Kata dropped or Ayshford to a utility role on the bench to fill in second row or centres if we get injuries.

To bring change you have to make change.

Of at least try to change something FFS!

Ah, I give up!

Same team as last week then.

The sound quality on the after match interviews on nrl.com is kaka, you cn never hear what the question is that the coach is answering.

Totally agree with you on Foran. Member met the team after the game, he just was in a world of his own, didn`t want to in gauge with the fans, he couldn`t wait to get out of there.
I was really disappointed in him.
all the others were great, happy to chat and were appreciative of their fans

I'm struggling to think of a stand-out performance by Fusitua in the centres.

I can easily think of at least 4 or 5 by him on the wing.
Dude is a very, very good winger and a bog standard centre at best... yet people want him moved after his best game of the season?

What annoyed me the most about the kickoff out on the full was not that it happened, but more so that the result would have been the same even into a howling wind. Hingano absolutely boomed that ball.

With Luke off that ground that kick needed to be taken by Johnson, Foran or Roger Tuivasa-Sheck - The fact Johnson took the next one only adds to the question of why he didn't take it in the first place, particularly as he had just nailed one from the sideline.
