Look at the tigers.

All heart and passion.

Even Lolohea is showing the sort of fire he never had with us.

You cant teach this. You have to want it

I dunno man.

I wasnt a harsh critic of Lolohea as some were on here, but did you see his miss on the Edwards try?

That was one of the most feeblest attempted tackles ive seen recently.......

You can take a player out of the Warriors but you cant take the warrior out of the player

That shirt grab by him ala Warriors style tackle cancelled out the pass he made earlier where they scored

Still rocks and diamonds but the fire and passion is there

Good game to watch though. Both teams wanted to win badly

I feel Lolohea may just come right after a Tigers preseason of decleansing.

So the Penrith system wasn't sorting out the crap?
No in fact participation numbers are down due to the influx of big islander kids.
When I was playing in NZ there were always the restricted weight groups and then I think when you got
to about 15 it was open weight. Not hard to do but the decision making at the NSWRL moves at a snails pace

Cool, fire SK. Hire another coach, and lets rinse and repeat for the next 6 years, and miss the finals every year

No, hire a coach that will teach these players how to play, make them accountable and come up with a strategy that leverages our strengths.

Its simple yet neither Bluey Elliot Cappy nor SK are doing it. They're just copying each others style of coaching making it pointless removing them to begin with. Whats worst with SK is that he's made the ex-coach his bloody assistant?!

Bruce i need u to remind me again why this isnt SK's fault?

What strengths? Players who can't tackle, or read defense? Players who deliberately clock off? Players who do whatever they want whenever? Players who come back overweight, or dose up on sleeping pills and redbull?

We've given the playing team 6 years of the benefit of the doubt, while trotting out 1000s of excuses as to why it's not working.
I'm now of the belief the reason it hasn't worked is because of the club. Weak development, weak standards and weak players.

So yeah I'm willing to give Mooks a couple of years to try and turn it around.

we've been trying to tackle and play defence for the last 20 years as a club.

and it hasn't worked.

if you're going to hire another coach who is simply going to take the same approach as prior coaches, then whats the point right?

our strength has and always will be SIZE and JUNGLE FOOTY.

We've killed these strengths.

No one knows what the Warriors are good for anymore. Hence your question - what strengths???

Find me a coach that embraces SIZE and JUNGLE FOOTY and that is how you will win back the trust of the players and fans.

talk to me about a process that uses size and jungle footy as your weapon then I'll die a happy man even if we don't win anything...

no I think we need jungle ball to win the comp and to set it alight... but even if we don't, I'll still be happy because I know the players and fans will be seeing something we all want to see & something we are good at...

When kearney says he hasnt instructed the players not to offload, I tend to feel hes flatout lying. Noone pushes up around the ball because we're not allowed to offload. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was mckinnon esque at the roosters, all he did was sniff around the ruck. Now Kearneys got him playing as a glorified prop. Does he not realise that every team in the nrl offloads, even the robotic Storm play jungle ball. His style of play resonates well with the monotone in his voice.
