if I was a Dogs fan I would be frothing at the mouth. All that money spent on a coach and finishing below the Warriors FFS.

So do Souths. Maguire was touted as a coach by some here as well if I recall.

If I were a Souths or Dogs fan I would be looking right at the very top of the chain for answers.


If we played all season like we did at Townsville we would be in the top eight no problem. Bloody big word IF.

Hey bruce, you may know more about this than I do. Don't the board at the DOG's have a huge say and influence on how the club is run and coached ? Hence why Des just isn't clicking there.....
I remember reading something about it , or maybe it was on NRL 360 once, no sure now.

Not debating that at all.. merely sharing Stephen's view re. the correlation between level of play and selection consistency...

Hope he got torn to shreds for that. It's a tough position for the coaching staff, with the home/personal stuff that he's going through..

Mate the kid isn't stupid, he has guts, he has massive talent, he just hasn't been managed correctly.

For example look at the background Cameron Munster has had compared with Solomone. It is like cricket, the low percentage shots are coached out of them, especially at the Storm.

Kata is a union player promoted too quickly into FG. Look how many times Jake Granville scores from dummy half, they all know it is on, but he doesn't do it all the time. It puts the pressure on the whole defensive line just thinking about it.

If Kata had gone in and passed it two wide there would have been a gap there, and game over. He didn't. He can be coached, I have never met a stupid Tongan but I have met a few who could be difficult to coach. That is up to SK to sort, he obviously thinks Kata is worth the patience.

You mean he hasnt been educated properly? You want the club to teach these highly paid players how to count to 5? Or to have a quick look at the ref to make sure his hand is raised signalling tackle 5???

Jazz must be in the bad books, thought he did well in the back row in the past.

I'm sure he's got a big motor but the Sharks have some size in that pack of their's. Has Bell been the standout foward in the reserves?
