Mr Brownstone

Management 101, the buck always stops at the top, that being EW, not JD. I wouldn't mind seeing the back of him but who would you get to replace him right now.
Yeah I was referring to EW; he has set the culture of the organisation and it is his impatience that is driving our failed recruitment and player development strategy. However Doyle is also to blame - he's executing the 'strategy'.

The next day, I realise I'm just glad we didn't get creamed. It was decent. You can support a team that competes and doesn't implode. OK, we're 2nd rate but at least we're not 3rd rate and 1st rate in this comp is pretty bloody awesome. We don't actually gain alot from KF at his current level of fitness. That quip about Blake Austin a few pages back - yes, I'd like to see him here and not just so we can watch Joey mouth off at him close up when the Raiders are here next.

28 points should be enough for finals footy. Whether we get those or not is yet to be seen. I honestly can't see us making it to 28 points.

Funnily enough, well, not really funny, kinda depressing, the one and only time 28 points hasn't been enough to sneak into the 8 since we were last in the finals was 2014. Sure enough we finished on 28 points that season, 13 or so behind the Donkeys in 9th position.

27 was enough last season. Can't see us making up that Many points though. Especially with injuries starting to creep into the squad.

It could have been, but it is too difficult to win in Perth. The players cannot be blamed for that. The problems started much earlier in the season, actually long before that. This competition doesn't reward an ounce of slackness in any club. Just look at Canberra right now.

Nah man we could have won that, should have won that. Saying it's too difficult to win in Perth is a cop out. We came SO CLOSE, just like the last few years. We're just struggling to win away from home.

Feeling a lot like most on here. Was great to see some passion and fight to the last minute but the period from 16-0 to 16-26 was just some horrendous defending. In reality the warriors are a 7th - 12th placed team even at full strength. Not looking forward to next year without KF and Mutts.... If I was Tony Iro I'd be on the phone to Blake Austin's management pronto
Blake Austin would be mean! But we don't need another running half. Shaun Johnson Is that. Well, Hes suppose to be lol. We need an organizing /Structured half. Nathan Cleary would be ideal!

how can at this stage of the season trying and i say trying to make it to 8th spot be satisfying to any fan following the warriors. Bottom line against Manly we were up by 16 at one stage then turned over and played dead.So after the last few seasons what improvement has happened? oh yea lets make 8th spot boy that might keep some fans happy but sorry not me.

Enjoyed the game for what it was............ a reasonable game of league. Other than the marker defence I thought we went alright against a top 4 side and could have pulled off a win with a few more smarts at the end. Shame about the injuries, more game time for Roache would be invaluable. Don't think SK had many options with Bunty once the injuries started to pile up. Roache had already been off for a HIA.

More work to do but 3 nice tries in the first 20 and although Manly came back it was through player deficiencies rather than the team dropping their bundle like past games. They kept going to the end.

Obv one of the "keep the faith" diehards who is satisfied with 6 years of shit from these bunch of muppets, look at Roger Tuivasa-Sheck at Roosters, he was a freak, now he is just average, the Warriors are ruining his career
Great mind reading and analytical work..your obviously one those know it all whose opinions are always right..keep it up spud

Albert Vete sums up the Warriors, he looks like he's just been eating KFC since his last game, he was an absolute joke, looks so unfit and actually flabby. How can you be on non stop attack for the first 20 then be the tired team 5min later with zero line speed in D (first 2 manly tries weren't special it was standing on heels on D) I'm glad they don't ruin my weekend now, was just sitting there laughing even when 16-0 up, knew it would fall to pieces, typical last min jungleball but come up short, joke of a club
Great insight into a person who professes not to care but joins in religiously to post up his thoughts before and after a game..you missed your calling Super coach. .

Ever flown to Perth brother?

Nah mate, but i flew business class from Tokyo to London once with Virgin. 11 hrs. Business class lounge was sweet. Even had a barber shop for a nice shave and shoulder massage for free?! theres also express checkin and checkout at immigration (no queing!) and i had a chauffeur pick me up from the airport to the hotel. It was bliss. Celebrity treatment. Oh and did i forget to mention your seat folds out into a bed if you want to take a nap???!! Travel in style... ah thats the life...what was your question again????

I actually enjoyed the game. Tapau was pretty much nullified. To say if Hoffman was there we would have won is maybe a bit far. But I was impressed by the effort considering injuries and the state Foz is in ATM. The bye is well timed. I'm seeing improvement weekly. The forwards are actually stepping up a bit.

Missed the game unfortunately but I'm hearing good things even though we lost. Sure I'll take the moral victory given that they fought till the end but there is one thing that is just inexcusable that keeps happening and that is shitty defense and a big part of that is lack of fitness imo. How can you give up 26 unanswered points?

Yawn. Same shit, different day. Concede 26 unanswered points in the middle 2/4 of the game and you can expect to lose every day of the week. And then of course the 'almost' comeback, though there's never actually a comeback is there. There's lots of players who 'played okay in a losing effort'. Team is full of players who have absolutely no idea how to win.

6 years of shit - the pattern of us picking up wins through origin then dropping ass in last 6 rounds speaks for itself, this year we have best Warriors team
On paper and we still suck, "keep the faith" supporters like yourself do the club no favours, hence why the standards and professionalism are the worst in the Comp, hence why we will miss the 8 this year, hence why you are an idiot full stop

Couldn't agree more, six consecutive seasons of poor results means over half the side haven't experienced a winning culture at NRL level.

That shit's deeply ingrained, I don't know where the belief is suppose to come from when your experience of reality is one of buckling under pressure, it's not like you can fake it till you make it in the NRL.

Kearney's trying to get them drinking the "Kool-Aid" and trusting in the process like it's a new cornerstone of belief they can all fall back on, I get the ideology but it doesn't seem to be working in a practical sense.
