Lol. I've been laughing for the past 10 minutes at the reaction in this thread, classic. I don't think I saw even one vaguely positive comment. Brilliant summation of the entire club and it's fans at present.
I'm really looking forward to the pre-game comments on here. This amount of negativity on Tuesday usually brings out peoples sense of humor by Saturday.
Once the game starts tho all bets are off. Then the players dick riding Kearney begins again.

I'm still pro Warriors and will continue to be pro Warriors. Through thick or thin, through ups and downs, and at the moment we are way down.
As frustrating as it is to watch the Warriors lose, and then to have to explain why I still support the Warriors every Monday morning to my workmates, I still bleed Warriors.

I used to go every year when I lived in bris and GC. Usually a pretty good game in terms of crowd. Stadium is also easy to get to. But yes I see your conundrum.
Stay home and slam your cock n balls in a drawer... way more enjoyable
I should have been more surprised by the lack of team changes... but kind of suspected as much from this team management. Got tickets and going down to the Gold Coast again this year. Have been the last 4 years and never seen the Warriors Lose there. Have doubts this year but the Warriors supporters have always turned up in numbers drowning out the (seems like) couple of Titans supporters.
One year the Titans supporters in the ground side seats had a microphone in front of them to pick up the support louder on the intercom speakers, ha ha.
Always a good trip and can always look forward to a dinner and drinks at/after the game to celebrate or drown the sorrows. Go the Warriors!

Can't remember who it was on here that said they were off for an "angry wank" after last week's debacle. But it occurred to me that the source of a lot of frustration and rightfully so is Shaun Johnson. How ironic then is it that guys here will take out their frustration with Johnson on their own johnsons?.

We are all so ashamed to be fans right now that we take the piss and rip to shreds the very team we claim to love.

I often wonder if we..us as fans...contribute to the mental weakness of this team.
Seems irrational right...these guys get paid thousands to play 80 mins a week, harden up.
The Warriors are the most scrutinized team in the NRL.
Maybe in the Southern Hemisphere.
Media in both NZ and Australia rip these guys to shreds.
Justifiable to criticize...but often too far.
Fans are the worst.
Take a guy like Maumalo for example...I heard on good word he gets a shit Ton of hate mail on social media by fans who bag him being in the team..like seriously who believes their entitled enough to attack a player personally like that...
That hand gesture he does when scoring tries...a msg to the haters...
Then I read some prick on a Facebook page moan about that very gesture, saying it's unprofessional and if he couldn't handle the backlash he should get a 9-5....reckons he's gonna Email Doyle to complain about it...for fuck sakes.
Yes we have the right to be pissed off but supporting this team is a choice.
The entitlement of taking our frustrations too far....beyond the keyboard of a forum or Facebook page...to reach out to players and literally spit in their faces...
What I'm getting at is this team is low on confidence backed in a corner ridiculed from all angles.
It's in vogue to be anti-Warriors now.

But SK, what he's showing me is that he has the back of this team, when the world has turned their back on this team (and I'm not saying without good reason).
And to an extent...it's worked for Maumalo who, despite scrutiny, has improved this season.
But until they learn as a collective to cancel out all fan expectation...media pressure...
To learn to fight for each other...do it for each other...
Adobt a Fuck the world attitude...that's when we will see the Warriors get back to their best.
It's a vicious cycle....a tunnel as deep as its ever been before....
But SK isn't phased...Veitchy and Radio sports have tried to brake him... he's taking the ridicule as sacrifice to back his team...
These motherfuckers need to pay him back some respect. Which will win back the respect of their fans. Then the media.

Not even close. Sydney clubs like Tigers and now the Dogs are far more scritinized. And thats just league. Warriors are a side joke in Australia. Something you add...to the main joke.

They have no confidence in themselves... they hang on every error, every missed tackle, every try let in...
A fear of making a mistake. A fear for the backlash from coach, from fans, from media....
When CNK Butchered that try vs. Broncos, I watched live at Mt Smart... his head went down. Body language dropped.
He was really kicking himself for it and his performance thereafter suffered to an extent.
Perhaps that's the problem with the so called process. When it doesn't go to plan the players loose confidence and the dominoes fall....
Then SK tries to counter that by backing them in media spotlight...instill confidence back into them...
It's the mental fortitude to overcome the tough times..we've lacked that for years.
That's what SK has to be trying to build.
It hasnt worked so far. But SK seems to keep backing his players.
SK is remaining stubborn in his ways.
Therefore players need to get their shit together..they haven't thus far.
As I said before the Warriors are stuck in a vicious cycle.
This reminds me of 2010 and early 2011 when Ivan refused t dump players like Brett Seymour for that new asian kid, Lance for the little dude with the 105m U20s try, Mateo for anyone. Wouldnt give Inu a shot cos he was on the naughty chair and knew what he did. Why do coaches all get stubborn against the fans when their team are shit? Sure, for Ivan eventually it paid off.
