I want to be all enthusiastic about this win.

It was fun to watch, but the Broncos weren't at full strength. I'll need to see the whole rest of the season with top effort before I'm going to be happy with this team.

Just too many years of capitulation at the gates of the finals.

Winning isn't a sometimes thing, it's an all the time thing. I've yet to see that from this club.

But winning sure does feel good.

Good to get the win, feels flat though, may be because it was an Origin depleted Broncos or we let in two tries in the second half as the Donkeys close in to within 12 after leading 22-0.

I'm not happy with our performance but I am happy with our win against Redcliffe Dolphins/Broncos Reserve Side.

Great to get a win, we can take some positives out of it especially Shaun Johnson's first half performance.
However, if we had 6 of our best players taken out of our team I'm sure we wouldn't lose by only 18 points.

Thank god- would've been embarrassing if we lost.
Shaun Johnson prob mom to the neutral supporter but to us warrior tragics..... Simon mannering- its Day and night without him- the guy is a colossus.
Must admit I spent most of the second half thinking- "fark I wish we could bing the sipley bros on right now".

The Broncos being Origin player less, brings them back into the field, must be what it would be like if TPA's weren't a thing and the Donkey's had to share their city with another (or 2) teams

Only watched the second half because I came on here and saw they weren't failing lol

Two observations/gripes:

1. Warriors need much more ruthless tackling and defence - urgently

2. Some of the 5th-tackle options are questionable to say the least

However, if we had 6 of our best players taken out of our team I'm sure we wouldn't lose by only 18 points.

Pretty sure we would lose by more than 18 even if both teams were at full strength. But enough of the reality and lets focus on the fact we beat a team today.

Lets all just stop in and take in this moment. Lisone and vete both managed to get through 80mins without a penalty and error between them. The "process" breathes life.

Played the Knights in round 1, today and we play them again in round 22.
