Who is going to make Mannerings forty odd tackles, especially the covering tackles? We are stuffed already.

Time for Bunty to take this opportunity. He was demoted to NSW Cup by default and his form has held.

Will be a big loss from a defensive stand point. We all know Manners holds the middle and haven't held tight without him.

But with Mooks apparently cleaning house for next season, we need someone to come in and play for their future.

Kearney took a gamble by only including one forward in Bunty on the extended bench. If your not going to play Manu on the wing don't name him in the 21 man squad.

It'll be up to Sao and probably Bodene to cover him, not ideal.

This game has now been elevated to the level of hardest type scenario.

Im a huge Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad fan but people are dreaming if you think he was ever going to replace Solomone Kata. One game debutant vs 53 games and 4 games for the Kiwis. Even Kata's 4 games for Tonga trump CNKs games for the Cookies. No competition. I expect Kata to lift after CNKs debut and if he doesnt we know who will take his place. Until such time Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad will just have to wait his turn...

he had a solid debut. That isn't good enough to displace Kata or Fusitua or Ayshford. You could argue Ken could be replaced by Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad but even that is a stretch. the bit I am unhappy with is Manu being in the 21 named. really not sure what that is about.

I am not sure the spine got better last game. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck definitely, Luke maybe but Foran and Shaun Johnson were no better and probably had less impact than the game before. The defence however was much better but I put that down to systems kicking in (I hope that was what it was anyway).

On the plus side the last time we played without Mannering we beat the dragons. It's a blow but it might make some senior players lift (e.g. Luke,Hoffman) knowing that Mannering isn't there to cover everything.

wow thats the bench for saturday !!

id start matulino, apart from that, that bench is pretty average

not going to scare any side.....watching alot of these consistent sides, when there bench players come on you notice no lack in desire

our bench...hmmm !
