Banana skin game ?

We've just beaten a top four quality side( We knocked the Roosters to 5th).

We've had a we rest.

Here we go facing a struggler with a great chance to grab to away points.

Same defence.

Hold the ball.

Game set match.
a weeks break is never good for the warriors unless it is a bye round and we get two points, we will have forgotten how to defend now and be back to square one

If you are right, Kearney has wasted nearly half of his campaign on players that don't give a toss about the coach, each other, the club......oh wait....
We should expect more.

I get where u are coming from.

There is every reason under SK to expect another big effort in defence.

Whether they hold the ball in the 2nd half is less certain.

My glass is half full this year.

The panthers miss more tackles, give away more penalties, run for less meters and make more errors.

They also offload more and make more line breaks.

Funny that its us on conservative side of the ledger these days.

But yeah, pretty simple, hold onto the ball and they will likely shoot themselves in the foot, as they’ve been doing all year.

They’ll probably come out full of energy as they’ve had a fortnight of “what a bunch of disappointments” talk leveled at them.

Get through that period and grind them out. They revert to Cleary hoisting a bomb at the end of every set. Run a bunch of shit at Cartwright defending in the backs – turnstile.

Probably be another tight one. Stress.

panthers maybe 15th but this game will go down to the wire

dont get me wrong, love to smash the guts out of them, well any team really hahaha

but this game will be tight, thats how we roll at the warriors, give the fans their moneys worth

and this panthers team does have some talent after all....all the kiwis in it LOL !!

Im a huge Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad fan but people are dreaming if you think he was ever going to replace Solomone Kata. One game debutant vs 53 games and 4 games for the Kiwis. Even Kata's 4 games for Tonga trump CNKs games for the Cookies. No competition. I expect Kata to lift after CNKs debut and if he doesnt we know who will take his place. Until such time Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad will just have to wait his turn...

Expect us to play the Panthers back into form this week

You'd think this would be a certain win.

I was not a fan of Maumalo but i can see quicker improvement under Kearney. Heck the fella even did a bit of a step the other week. Maybe Kata's been directed to pass now Maumalo got a step happenin. Maybe just a straight cut out pass from Foran on that side?

Damm bro was hoping you would chime in with some Intel along the lines of SK playing mind games with us all, with Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad set to line up after all :(:(:(

The Warriors have been dealt a blow with lock Simon Mannering likely to be ruled out of Saturday's NRL clash against Penrith after suffering a hamstring strain at training today.

The 30-year-old is understood to be facing up to two weeks on the sidelines and is also set to miss next week's clash against St George Illawarra in Hamilton.

Coach Stephen Kearney will need to re-jig his line-up with abrasive forward Ligi Sao and young back-rower Bunty Afoa among the extended reserves in the 21-man squad named yesterday.

The loss of the former Kiwis captain comes just after the side was approaching full strength with former New Zealand test prop Ben Matulino having made his first appearance of the season off the bench in their last-start 14-13 win over the Sydney Roosters.

The 11th ranked Warriors have four wins from nine starts and head to Sydney looking to for back-to-back victories for just the second time this season.
