Second half, the boys ran on yahooing. James Gavet is there flashing weird cheesy signs to Manu and Tui. I said to the wife we will get rolled here. There's no spirit. They honestly ran on with a presence of turn up, she will be right. Just make sure we don't get injured.

Says it all for me. The fuckers we'rent focussed, thought they had it. How fucking amateur

The coaching staff arent dumb. Im sure they would have stressed at halftime that they had all the ball 1st half, everything bounced their way. At some stage the Panthers would get their share, they would have a period of dominance, and how the Warriors dealt with it would be key. The game always evens up. Fuckers we're obviously nodding their heads while dreaming up their new try scoring celebrations.

Clearly "above the line" hasnt sunk in to everyone yet.

Is it just me or are we playing an offside strategy. I've seen over a few games that we've been constantly offside in the first half, the refs have let us get away with it, cause we do it on every single play and it would kill the spectacle to penalize us out of the game early. And in the second half the opposition start doing it as well and we're fucked.

For me this is a bad strategy, as our spine needs the opposition being held back the 10 before they can work their moves. So we want to be putting max pressure on the refs to keep the other team back the 10. Cant do that if we're not back 10 ourselves.

This to me is a new way of self sabotage that has popped up since we started believing in Forans ability to work the structures.

It's kind of the same as picking the smallest pack in the comp. It makes defeat inevitable.

One other point too, I find it insulting that players/fans say with Mannering there it would be different. Have some respect and don't blame the guy who didn't play, rather, lead the way by acknowledging and being responsible for your own performance(Roger Tuivasa-Sheck)!

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck called it the worst 40 minutes of his career. How's that not admitting responsibility?

And all he did in regards to Mannering was praise him like all players do when talking about other team mates.

There's really nothing in that interview at all that warrants anyone to feel insulted.

Every team is in front of the referee. Penriff were a mile offside consistently. It's the whole post Harrigan mantra. Blow an early penalty and then coach the players rather than penalise.

Yeah the attitude was deplorable. I said to my lover as they ran back on they're not focussed. All we really needed to do was get through our sets for the first 15 minutes and make solid contact in the middle. But the lads were sitting back waiting for RCG and being thrust away by Peachey. I mean when Ayshford misses as bad as the one on Blake, you know we have nothing. I told my lover within a minute of the second half we would get rolled. The intensity was gone. They expected Penriff to fall over.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck errors aside, I don't blame the spine. We had one forward run in the second half that had desire. It was from Gavet. We weren't getting in a good position for a kick as a result. Matulino is a deadset powder puff. I'd keep Bull, but we need two other impact forwards so that we can either get markers out for Luke to run or defensive lines holding back.

BTW I don't think Ben has signed out. I just think he is struggling big time to have the impact anymore with his body. I don't think he will be of any real value to Wests.

He wasn't praising Mannering, he brought his name up as an explanation to excuse a soft middle D. If Roger Tuivasa-Sheck hadn't have continually handed the ball over then the defence may have had a break, so yeah he did half arse admit to losing the game but didn't win my respect for not shouldering the whole responsibility but blaming the fact on someone who didn't take the field. Simple.

Like I said, IMO there's nothing in that interview at all other than little bits and pieces for fans to micro-analysis and get bent out of shape over nothing.

But that's just my opinion and you're entitled to yours too.

Work 12 hrs jump into the ute turn radio on 5 mins into 1st half and listen as I travel home. Get home just at the start of 2nd half totally in love with the warriors and life race inside missus has tea ready eagerly switch on to see the game live sit down and watch one of the most gutless 2nd halves of any sport I can think of. Anyone who can say keep the faith needs to be buried in concrete on the moon. Post match comments from players and staff made me realise that us fans are just used as pig fodder . Its been the same bullshit trotted out for last 6 odd years and no I have not burnt my jersey Yet.

It's a shame we gave up without a whimper. Would have preferred to go out in a blaze of glory.

People watch the warriors lose to the panthers and they all say she's a mystery...

All this talk of implosion is beginning to be rather obtuse to the Panthers who since last season are a replica of the Warriors circa 2001-03.

We loved it when the Warriors blew the Doggies away with 3 converted tries in the final 5 minutes to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat and that is just 1 example. Yes we(Roger Tuivasa-Sheck) handed them the game in the 2nd half but they are the dark horse who can win the premiership..

Obtuse or not, had we played with the right mindset we would also have scored 2nd half points.

Would we? How many points racked up in the 1st half were results of fortunate and favorable events, 2 converted tries during a period playing a 12 man opposition for 10 minutes and an intercept try is hardly proof of a dominant mentality. Obviously the proof of the opposite of the 2nd half, although I believe if Roger Tuivasa-Sheck hadn't handed the ball back to them on our goal line several times then the competitive mentality would have prevailed.
