Kata slept half the flight and later watched Frozen

Mannering and Lane sat together and neither of them said one word with the boys.

Lillyman told the attendant that Kata was an illegal immigrant :D:D:D

Princess checked in and out by himself if you want to read anything into it. When rest of the boys walked around in groups.

Matulino had his hoodie up the whole time and he was standing up, blocking the isle talking with the boys, and people were apologizing to him to walk past :D:D

Just as I've always suspected-powderpuff off-field, powder-puff on it jks.

Konnie deserves a shot coz we know he is a game breaker just give him some minutes and yes I do think we have a problem in the centres from IMHO when Manu moved up and in ol' Kata was caught napping and flat footed instead of coming up and in he just stood and slid (slowly) hence getting smoked on the outside! Blake did nadda he should have compressed his side in fuck it if they get smoked on the outside inside the oppositions half then that just means shit first up defence, that Ayshford should have jamming in big time instead of picking his nose!
Poor old Lisone got to look like a fool and where was his team mates picking him up? the poor bastard has not has time to develop into a prop he kept Lillyman (state of origin....yeah right!!!) on the bench so that tells you how shit Lillyman has bben going. Crappy takes him off and Lillyman does worse, not once did I see Lisone mentored, he should be made to watch Adam Blair who has been made into a hard working prop, that is the workrate he has to emulate if he wants to be a FG prop and he could make it given time, he is only young and was let on his own too often last night, what was he doing on the right edge exposed the centre should have shuffled him in, fuck it was way to loose out there!
I heard Bluey and Blackmore on radio wanting Shaun Johnson back to fullback with Robson and TL in the halves fuck guys really? you bruthaz are up with the play what else we got? say it ain't so! Bluey was wanking on how good TL was and just needs more game time? what 11 years is not enough? fuck he can't kick for shit or pass both ways and these days he helps guys over the line with his tackling his best play was getting obstructed and causing a no try from a mile away! Lets make a play for Benji, a mid season transfer? is it possible?

I’m not sure what you guys want from the coach at this point. I read a lot of things about player accountability and stepping up to drop our big names so they get a kick up the ass and come back a better player.

In what world does that logic work?

I’ve heard mentions of drop “Johnson, Luke, Hoffman, Manu.. etc”… Humour me, we get rid of these guys for a week, who's left?

If what everyone is saying about the players not playing for the coach, then they sure as hell won’t be after being dropped. Imagine if Johnson got dropped, mentally he would be going "this coach is off his fkn head, this team single handedly relies on me to have any chance of winning games". He would NOT come back a better player. I recall a game a couple of years ago where Maloney and Johnson were dropped to the bench and it did absolutely nothing in terms of development. I think they brought in Mateo/Godinet as the combination, memory is a bit dusty.

Cappy is in no position to drop these big name players. If he drops the players, we have players fill in who are not first grade level. If he doesn’t drop the players, he gets criticised about not making big decisions by dropping his big name players.

He’s damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t. Do I admit he’s not the greatest coach going around? Yes. Do I think getting a new coach mid-season is going to help us? HELL NO!

I could rant for hours about how dropping our big name players is not logical, but 90% of the forum posters here just don’t get it. The solution of sending out an ISP team in first grade to teach the big name players a lesson, is not the solution. I promise you, when the team gets wrecked (and they will), the next week when Johnson and co are brought back in and then they lead with the mentality "ha ha ha good one cappy, that’ll never happen again". If anything, it would make them more comfortable knowing that the team can't perform without them, so their position is safe.

Based on, and averaging, all of everyone's suggestions, your first grade team would look like this against the Dragons

1. Wells
2. Fusitua
3. Ayshford
4. Allwood
5. Maumalo
6. Hingano
7. Lino
8. Lillyman
9. Tevaga
10. Matulino
11. Bodene
12. Lane
13. Lautiti

This team would get WRECKED.

Now, I can't come here and write off suggestions that other forum members are posting without my own possible solution. To be honest, I don't have one and I suspect it's because there isn't a simple one. The Warriors are not a club that people want to play for, you either play for us because you're in Auckland, or because it's the final year of your contract and we're throwing the big bucks at you. Also a select few, you can't even make first grade for any other side (Wright).

The media and our players have destroyed us as a club. It will be close to impossible to get to a point where people want to be a Warrior. Most kids in NZ see this and think, I wanna be an All Black.

To the day this club folds, I will be a full Warriors supporter. When these guys lose, it literally ruins my weekend. When they win, I can't even express the Joy it brings to me.

What we need to do is go day by day with this team with the same coach for the rest of the year. We can make the top 8, I have no doubt. Finals footy is a different game, and admittedly the boys click into gear when it comes finals time. Our goal for the season should be, just come 7th or 8th. If we can do that, the mentality changes. It goes from them not having a great attitude and knowing their position is safe, to "Hey, if we string together 4 wins, we win a premiership and that ring would look really cool on my instagram" (I saw a video of Koni, Bodene and Jazz dancing in a food court looking like idiots and thought to myself you spastics how about you win some games before you do stupid shit like that).

Like I said, I could go on for hours typing ... /rant over.
This is a better rant than I could be bothered typing.

One thing that has become clear to me about McFadden is that as a former playing back in the NRL he brings noobs in by the least stressful position of Wing.

Forwards on the other hand he believes can come in cold and play their specialist positions.

Seeing Fusitua asn the preferred back up fb just pisses me off....he has gone from that position to Wing then center at this club.

Grow a pair Warriors, pick a fb prospect apart from the tried and failed Fusitua.....give wells a crack you knobs...leave Fusitua on the wing.

My Team for this weekend...

1. Ivan Cleary
2. Justin Murphy
3. John Carlaw
4. Clinton Toopi
5. Francis Meli
6. Motu Tony
7. Stacey Jones (capt)
8. Jerry Seuseu
9. PJ Marsh
10. Mark Tookey
11. Ali Lauiti'iti
12. Awen Guttenbeil
13. Kevin Campion

14. Lance Hohaia
15. Richard Villasanti
16. Wairangi Koopu
17. Logan Swann

Fuck...

Fusitu'a
Vatuvei
Ayshford
Kata
Maumalo
Robson
Johnson
Vete
Tevaga
Lillyman
Mautalino
Hoffman
Thompson

Gubb
Sao
Lane
Gavet / Luke

Might work against a team who base their game around their one dimensional forwards.

I think Cappy is just flat out damned...

Dead man walking springs to mind.

On ya mate!

Just one question, how was last night any different?

But you are right. As mad as I am, making wholesale changes won't make a positive difference. The alternatives are worse.

I just don't see anything to look forward to now.

All I can hope for now is that the team knuckle down and DON'T EVER SIT ON THEIR HEELS AGAIN, and try to make a miracle run to the semis. If this is not their attitude for the rest of the season, then they can get fucked. I want to see them make week-on-week improvements in each individual's defensive attitude. If i can see that, and they do make the 8, then all will be forgiven. Anything less and i'm not watching for years.

We got our asses handed to us last night, by a clinical Storm team. They capitalised on every opportunity they got, and gave us absolutely no sniff of getting back into it.

I guess a good example of what the difference to last night would be is the Tigers game. They nailed us early, but with the quality of team we had on paper, we managed to get back into it. If we sent out a team like what the rest of the forum posters are proposing, then those "comebacks" are also ruled out because there is no ability to fire.

When push comes to shove, people want change. Unfortunately most of the people aren't educated enough with the ISP team to know how much of an impact it would be when those players are switched in and exposed to first grade standard.

Whether people like it or not, last nights 1-13 was our best team on paper with who was available. I actually saw enough from Fusitua to suggest that when Tui is fit again, he might come in at 6.

Fusitua is big, strong and has very skillful hands. He's also got some speed. Terrible positioning defensively, that's why I suspect late in the game he got moved to the wing. He could be a prospect for that fullback role for the rest of the year.

Last night's game didn't really piss me off as much as other losses have. I prefer losing by that margin, rather than losing in the last 10 mins because we didn't play for the full 80. For example, if we lost that Dogs game last week, I would have absolutely lost my shit.

Let's take it week by week, I still have faith.

Here's a food for thought. People want a coach, so the players have someone to play for. We see it with the Broncos, the Dogs and the Storm. They want to impress their coach, and on the back of that, get rewarded.

With that said, a potential candidate for future coach of the Warriors should also be the current coach of the Kiwi squad. Why? Because the players then begin to play for something. Majority of the Warriors squad are eligible and want to play for NZ. Naturally, if the coach of the Kiwi side is also the coach of your club side, you're going to go into training every day going if I bring my best foot forward, I'll be rewarded with a test spot. A perfect example would be when Kearney selected the Kiwi squad, he automatically brings in Kahu, Blair, Nikorima, Glenn, etc. These blokes would turn up for him every week to Broncos training, and as a result got rewarded. I bet my last dollar these blokes knew that because Kearney was on the coaching team, if they played well, they'd get rewarded.

Let's bring this to the Warriors!

In terms of coaching ability, Kearney probably isn't amongst the best. In terms of the players playing for him, he'd have their full attention.

That's my proposal for a 2017/2018 future. Have the current Kiwi coach to be the Warriors coach, and for the Anzac test have the assistant coach take control for a week.

I definitely think people naming Tevaga in the starting lineup are onto something, the guy can tackle and run with the ball, he looks like Luke did 5 years ago.

He looks hungry and thats was the Warriors are sorely lacking.. that and some big strong forwards

Luke definitely doesn't look hungry!

Would rather see Gubb dropped than Lisone. Gubbs' been arse for weeks, Lisone has been putting in all year up until last night where he had the obligatory mare that every Warrior has periodically.

In a few of Gubbs hitups last night, he went down like he'd been shot.

Fuck...
I'd sub Fa'afili in for Murphy anyday! He'd be slashing open a few coconuts and dancing in the in-goal against this current mob.

Can't be easy having to name your team less than 24 hours after such a shit performance when you still aren't sure everyone has pulled up okay (not that anyone did enough tackling to get hurt).
Might be that there are a few changes before Saturday.
Wells to Fullback, Fusitua on the wing.

If Konnie isn't going to get a run we should swap him, Titans want him ....who have they got?

I will be seeing red if the same team that performed last night is listed for this weekend.

Bring in Hurrell, bring back Robson, bring in Ali I don't care, but make changes because a these fuckwits we call players need to be held accountable for that performance last night.

Senior players need to start spending time in reserve to know they are no invincible.

Enough with the excuses already.

Totally agree. Except for the Robson return.

Would rather see Gubb dropped than Lisone. Gubbs' been arse for weeks, Lisone has been putting in all year up until last night where he had the obligatory mare that every Warrior has periodically.

Hey. We could even name exactly the same team bar Manners and Lolo.

Its not who plays. Its how.

We could bring in Yoda, Thurston, Stacey Jones in his prime and would still lose if the team plays with the same lack of commitment.

Fuck just concentrate on getting their heads right.

Tell them they need to stand up before the team and share what is motivating them for the dragons game. Then repeat it before during and after each training, meeting, meal, toilet break and social media post.

Pre season assured your level of fitness. Now align your thinking so you'll be motivated as a mother fucker.

Then you'll be the Warriors.

Is it wrong that I somewhat hope Manu picked up an "injury" and is ruled out come game day?
I wouldn't have him anywhere near the first grade side. How is it after 12 or so years playing first grade as a winger he still can't defend to save himself??? I don't give a flying fuck how much the others like having him around...his only use is a hard running hit up to start a set off. We don't use him for any attacking plays, his speed is way down and he can't tackle.

Gubb must have photos of someone to keep being picked...don't care if he is a nice guy.

Sao is so unfit it beggars belief that he is even considered let alone picked for the past few weeks. Same with Luke.

Cant believe Capp didn't drop any big names, absolutely gutless. He needs to stamp some authority quick before he finds himself house hunting back in aus.

To be honest I'm loving the backlash that the team is getting from media people at the moment, because the players just don't care full stop and the coach just can't seem to get the players to care (I'm not sure any coach could).

I would of had:

1. David Fusitua
2. Ken Maumalo
3. Blake Ayshford
4. Solomone Kata
5. Matt Allwood
6. Ata Hingano
7. Shaun Johnson
8. Jacob Lillyman
9. Thomas Leuluai (c)
10. Sam Lisone
11. Shaun Lane
12. Bodene Thompson
13. Toafofoa Sipley

14. Jazz Tevaga
15. Ben Matulino
16. Albert Vete
17. James Gavet

Still no Ali lauititi I'm convinced they have no plans to use him.why ? Are the current players playing too good ?? Please give us a break ?

Finally shaun lane and jazz tevaga selected

ken maumalo not selected on the wing but wright is selected again
