I'm curious to see if this team wins on Monday, and somehow ticks all the boxes, does he maintain the team, or bring the guys back?

Can you imagine if he continued to maintain a winning team while those blokes were in reserve grade watching. That'd sting.

Actually, the best thing would be the replacements playing really well, whether the team win or not. Then, Cappy has perfectly legitimate on-field reasons for not bringing the naughty boys back. The worst thing is that the team get thrashed and the replacements failings are deemed largely responsible which means Cappy has to bring the naughty boys back and looks - in some peoples eyes - stupid because his replacements didn't work at all.

No, I was talking about the players decision making, not JD.

On another note, I saw on TV3 Sport tonite that the Warriors have today (Friday). So they played Monday, had Tuesday off, Wednesday they had off except for a review meeting, Thursday, hopefully they trained, Friday off, and hopefully they train Saturday. That's two days of training,(Thursday and Saturday (captain's run) with a new team for all intents and purposes leading up to Sunday's game. Not good enough, Cappy.
Wouldnt think they train too hard tomorrow, day before the game. So one training after last weeks debacle, wtf? Should have made them come in and watch that game over and over, suffer like we have to.

No, the best thing to happen is a 50pt drubbing to show how deep the rot is in his club.

You need more sensationalism to make everyone agree a full and utter cleanout is necessary. Management and players a like.

Spare no one.

Dropping that many first graders takes balls, and sends a serious message out. Club will lose fans out of this, theres no doubt about that. Some fans have stated that they will follow Konrad to his new club if he does get released. There are others, who will support the club no matter what. Some support the players more than the club, thats fine. They can take their support for their players to other clubs reserve grade side.

The club should always be bigger than the players who are here.

Agree a billion percent. Always club over player, for me. Unless a player has obviously been dudded and the closest I've come to feeling that is way back in 2006 with Misi Taulapapa, who I felt was made an example of when there was another, more senior player, with the same issues. Who was dealt with in time...

Merchandise folk must love it when a player moves teams: They get their clubs fans buying "New Player 24" shirts and outsiders buying "New Player Who Used To Play For .... 24" shirts - ie Nigel Vagana: Warriors/Wolves/Warriors/Bulldogs/Sharks/Rabbitohs...

I believe you do this over a 3 year period by releasing the cancers now to make a statement. Next year a few more cancers and a few old bloods and then the 3rd year the last of the old bloods during this whole time replacing the cancers with true professionals that can govern their own behaviour and wont fall into some bro culture shit in fact they will create a new culture. Replace the old bloods with 28year old vets who can grow into the senior leadership roles. By then youve got a fulll new team with no cancers to influence them, a new senior leadership core and some new talent and experience to take us to new heights.
I hate the sound of three years.

But in all reality that's probably what it's going to take.

So I'm hardening the fuck up cause I'm not a poofter...

If it's three years, then that's what it is.

6 Again

Not the world's biggest McFadden fan I think we can do better, but for a rookie coach it was good to see him blow stack during half time against the Storm, now he's flexed his muscles again by dropping 6 players.

Time for some of our players to grow a thicker skin especially many of the poly boys.

He will need to get down in the gutter occasionally to earn the respect he should have as head coach and if certain players don't like it they can be shown the door.

Sorry, but fuck that call about the poly boys...

We're all humans here. Pissing and shitting out of exactly the same holes as anyone.

Everyone has to stand upright on their own if they want to play for the Warriors from now on.

Sick of this shit..

Has anyone considered the possibility that these senior players are correct in their lack of faith in Cappy, and have good motivations for staging this revolt? Also really sad to see Mt Welly gone, he's the no.1 reason myself and a lot of others lurk here. Please don't leave us mate, you're the only source on the club we trust.

Jesus wake up, the same thing keeps happening over and over again, the players are poison, Manu, matulino, hurrell and Lisone need to be shown the door, the others I def give benefit of the doubt, the players are toxic and Lowe was bang on with the bro culture, it's a fucking disgrace, don't the cu**s realise they would be on minimum wage in a south Auckland factory if it wasn't for league, fuck them

That's alright, another Polynesian poster made the call earlier that the poly boys resent being yelled at and berated in front of others as happened in Melbourne.

If that's the case they need to grow a thicker skin and I stand by that remark.

I know plenty of so called poly boys, and some of them are solid as fuck. Real deal good cu**s...

Culturally when they are in a group of their brothers they will owe some allegiance to that group, its just the way they are. That is why some people won't say it publicly but they need to be a minority in the team to avoid that.

The mistakes were made in recruitment. Not all league players in NZ are Tongan, so why is it the largest group in the Warriors? That isn't being racist by the way. If they were all Ngapuhi I would be hearing about it.
