Nice try by Panthers. Its sad when a warriors fan finds watching other teams more enjoyable.

Bryce Cartwright is on fire this season. Best ballplaying forward in the game.

Tyrone Peachey dropped to reserve grade as he cant make the team at Panthers anymore. Doyle get on the phone. We can give them Louisi for Peachey.

Watching the Storm and Bulldogs tonight reiterates that were not in the same league of these teams. April will be a nasty month being a Warriors fan

And yet if you watched both teams last week you'd say the opposite. Things change from week to week and the Warriors have a habit of imporivng (but not beating) the best teams and lowering themselves for a close win/loss to the rest.

Nah. Time to face reality. We suck.

Improving is an overrated word with us.

If I had a dollar for every time I heard the word "improving" after a loss.....

2.10 for the Bulldogs next week is looking very tempting.

We usually can't front the teams that play hard and with an bit of niggle in there game expecting Graham and Klemmer to pull off some shots on Matulino and watch the rest of our forward pack fold.

I wouldn't write us off against the dogs yet. Yes, on form they'll crush us. But don't underestimate the short turn around.

Less than 5 full days turnaround for the Dogs, getting home from Melbourne, then heading to Wellington. versus 7 days turnaround for us, and going from Auckland to Wellington. If we can keep it close in the first 20-30 - that dogs pack could tire.

(sadly our record against Hasler coached sides is rubbish though. so don't expect a miracle).

Not saying we don't suck. Simply saying that the NRL is too up and down to isolate a single game and say "awww gee, we ain't gonna match that".

It's irrelevant from week to week.

The problem with the warriors over the last 20 years, and especially over the last 4 and a bit seasons has always been consistency.

On their day, the warriors can match any and every team in the comp - no one doubts it. There is usually 1-2 games per season, even in a crap season, that the warriors absolutely flog someone.

The problem the warriors always have is the difference between their best display and their worst display (or even their average display) is huge. Sometimes it makes you think you're watching different teams (with the same players)...

Oddly - the key players in the warriors are a part of this. Shaun Johnson and Manu are two of those players who can have immense games, or average, nothing to show for it games. And when they do - the performance of the whole team suffers.

The flipside is that there is usually 1-3 games per season that the Warriors get flogged themselves. Last year in Wellington against the Dragons when we lost 36-0 was one of those moments. The Cake Tin is not a nice place for us...
