The first 5 minutes of that game we had 95% possession and a 12 point lead. If we can just do that for the full 80 we'll be alright...

My one serious post for todays game, the disallowed try for Nat Roache, last year when Manu did an offload to an opposition player that had been offside at the PTB who then turned and scored a try. the try was given with the argument by the referees that Manu had run 10 metres and had therefore put him on side, I argued black and blue a player that was "dead" at the PTB could not be run back on side as he had to be onside at the start of the ruck. Several members here argued it was the correct decision while my knowledge of the rules said to me it was the wrong decision. Well guess what, that's exactly what happened today, a player that was dead during the PTB was run onside by Manu who then passed the same player the ball. This year they remember the fucking rule. The Warriors suck but not as fucking much as the knob jockeys in charge of the NRL.

Like last year we go into the off season on a losing streak. Our record for round 1 is pretty shocking. So expect about round 2-3 next year the losing streak to be highlighted. Worth mentioning as the players confidence is usually down around that point making tonight seem like an OK performance.

At this point I think our biggest problems are our wingers. How many tries went begging due to poor handling? Off the top of my head (and I am half pissed) 2 to Manu and 1 to Maumalu. And how many were let in because of our wingers? Running off their wings and leaving overlaps. Not trusting their centers and just making it worse...

Not just missing out on tries from poor handling but also turn overs from basic hit ups. Watching some of the other sides with wingers with a lot of pace they still get some good metres early in the tackle count. Ours only seem to run one off the ruck where the others are running from dummy half or one or two out from the ruck on early plays.

Watching Semi today with pace along with his power shows we need to rethink this big power winger. Need some agility out wide.

Disappointing end to a disappointing season. I'm fucked if I know what the answer is, coach, players, culture but for sure something has to change for next year.

Moving on, how many in the senior side are still eligible to play ISP, still in the hunt there.
