Another season done and dusted.
Another year without any purpose to watch Finals footy.
But, comparing the feeling now as opposed to this time last season.... don't know how to feel.
Don't know where this club is going.
All I know is recruitment is going to be key this offseason. Whether it's a new coach or players, Doyle needs to work fucken hard to assemble the right group of people to help this club reach success.
We have good players at the moment. But a squad which is heavily unbalanced and a on-field focus which is all wrong.
A good place to start it ridding themselves of dead wood - Manu Vatuvei will always be regarded as one of the greatest Warriors but its time. Same with Lillyman - needs to go back to Townsville.
A healthy
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Luke and
Shaun Johnson would help. Signing Foran would be awesome.
Having an actual winger with Fusitua on the other edge would be even better.
A fucken strong, hard running meter eating prop would be fucking top of the table.
Unlike most, I feel the culture of the club behind the scenes is being well established. Results on the field don't reflect that, but the Warriors always have it bloody tough.
I mentioned it in the other thread, not only do they have to beat the opposition, but they also have to deal with shoddy reffing and the upmost demon of beating themselves.
It must be tough on players when you see the same players making errors and putting you on the back foot (Looking at Manu and Lolohea).
Failure to salute a great clubman in Leuluai. I wish him nothing but success at Wigan.
The Warriors just looked mentally and physically fatigue today. Over it. Just like our fans. Players who are low on confidence - Lolohea's regression is outstanding.
But summing up my ramble - this is perhaps the biggest offseason in Warriors history - and the ball is in Jimmys hands.
