Round 25 , Sun 28 Aug, 4:00 PM (local), Mt Smart Stadium #NRLWarriorsTigers

Kata and Lolohea return to face Tigers

Solomone Kata and Tuimoala Lolohea both return for the Vodafone Warriors’ 25th-round NRL contest against Wests Tigers at Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday (4pm kick-off).
A hamstring injury kept the 21-year-old Kata out of Saturday’s clash against the North Queensland Cowboys while Lolohea turned out for the club’s Intrust Super Premiership side against the Mounties in Auckland.

Kata was missing from the line-up for only the second time in 46 matches since his NRL debut last year and the first time through injury.

The club’s top try scorer with 14, he ranks sixth equal among all NRL players so far this season and is averaging 116 metres a game.

Lolohea returns for his 47th first-grade game replacing right wing Ken Maumalo, who was forced off the field with a hamstring injury after just 17 minutes of the North Queensland encounter.

The rest of the line-up named today is unchanged from the one used in Townsville with Ata Hingano on a five-man bench after becoming Vodafone Warrior #214 on Saturday.

The only thing I can think why Lolohea is back in, is that Cappy now has the motto we must win at all costs

For those that are unhappy, what would you do different? I really like this team. I liked TL going to hooker - his best position IMO, and thought Ata really added some flair on attack at 6. I like lolohea on the wing also, shown up at FB, and cappy has had to make changes with Maumalo out, who else would you prefer? We realistically have limited options, and cappy has had to include Lolohea..if we lose this we're out, hell, even if we win this weekend and next, we still need Titans to fall to penrith this weekend AND cowboys next weekend

just did the ladder predictor.. Titans must lose to Penrith this weekend AND cowboys next weekend, and we have to beat Tigers AND Eels..interesting times. I think the Titans will lose both those matches, but I literally have no fucking idea what Warriors team will turn up, classic.

Anyone watch ISP and able to report on Sipleys form? It is a mystery to me that he has not been tried again.

I think most people are already aware of this man haha.

I can see Titans winning at least one of their games. NRL will make sure Hayne features in the finals.

Probably the best backline we've fielded all year minus Roger Tuivasa-Sheck. Certainly not perfect, but considering the options we have it's not going to get any better.

Bench should be interesting. Feel sorry for Tui, he's going to be out on the wing when Ata inevitably comes on in the halves. Awkward.

I'll be happy with this team if its the team that will actually end up playing. With Cappy you never know...

Took him 25 rds to pick a team we all agree is the best available on paper.

Better late than never.

Just watched a replay of last week's game was no where near as bad as I first thought. Some absolutely ridiculous refereeing, cowboys got away with about 4 strips not to mention being offside constantly and running players of f the ball on kicks. Won't even go into the imaginary penalties they received. Will win the next two games and win them well.

Far better team than we've had previously nice to see some threat on the wing but too late now titans will win atleast one game and bye bye playoffs and bye bye coach

Lillyman very lucky to still be there IMO. If McFadden was using the same criteria he did for Lolohea, he would be in NSW Cup. I wouldn't mind seeing Sipley given some more time in first grade to try kick start our forward pack in to gear
