My next question, is the rain in Auckland different to the rain in Aussie, Tui got wet and didn't melt, I"m guessing Ayshford is immune to Aussie rain but not Kiwi rain. Only reason I can think of for the opposite bench use to a couple of weeks ago.

If the refs aren't willing to blow what was a blatant penalty, then perhaps they shouldn't put so much emphasis on points being scored (golden point). They need to start pulling teams up on being offside in these situations because, as things stand, the only reason teams are doing it is because they know they will get away with it.

I am so fucking glad we won this game because I don't think i could actually tolerate another Referee review admitting that it should've been a penalty.

Well there is usually the easy way or the hard way. We go a step further and do it the Warrior way.

Just when it looked like we could close the game out we make mistakes and hey look we are off to golden point again. Hearts in mouth stuff. Expecting things to go south like the last few weeks and to be disappointed like the last few weeks; especially when we can't set up or take a drop kick. We go off and score a try to ease all the pressure instead. What were we worried about again.

Tony Archer said the refs should have blown penalties in the Manly game. I was half expecting us to get blown for off side during golden point but the refs obviously didn't get the memo from their boss. That would have made things a lot easier.

Funny how them not awarding a penalty has actually helped us!!!

Agree. It might be a good call if we can ahead in a few games to get someone to take the 1 so if we do get locked up in a tight game or golden point we can set up with options.

Talk from the side has been they have practicing golden point or setting up for a field goal. I know everyone's laughing there but even with a few games to go in the season we probably need to prepare for the likely hood of another few close games the way things are going.
