Who was your MoM?
Did the team back up their performance against the Broncos and Knights?
Did Thomas Leuluai do well enough at 5/8?
Solomone Kata actually pass?
How did Ken Maumalo go?
Did we miss Jacob Lillyman?
What about Toafofoa Sipley?
Nathaniel Roache or Jazz Tevega?
Captain lead from the front?
Charlie Gubb improve his tackling technique?
Shaun Johnson still on a hot streak?
Bench effective?
Error rate kill us or save us?

Sitting 7th boys (so... technically 6th).

Great effort all round. Everyone put in, and any mistakes that were made, the player aimed up immediately to make amends.

Like I said in the gameday threat - a fully fit Shaun Johnson would have seen us win that game a lot more comfortably.

MoM... not really sure, Bully could easily lay a claim to that, as could Vete, Ayshford, and a few others, which is a great sign for us.

Tough win, exactly what we needed. Onwards and upwards boys - real test is next week.

Needed that game after the training run last week. Didn't expect many tries from our guys as when you have a game like that against Newcastle, defence isn't really tested for a fortnight. Was a game we needed with the Sharks next

MoM goes to Mannering for me, defense won us that game in the end and Mannering was the wall in the middle against those big Rooster forwards. He gets some shit on here but he was fuck'n awesome tonight with 50 plus tackles.
He totally dominated.... ok one bad miss but the rest of the game he was a beast.

He does a lot of little things that go unnoticed. Some of those things like when his team mates are struggling to get the ball carrier down where he comes in and finishes off the tackle are great plays. Would have thought a lot of players would have stopped doing that when the interchange was reduced.

He did one big shot in the second half when a couple of guys were wrestling with the ball carrier; he flew in a put a nice shot on. Made me sit up who the hell did that.

What I really liked was a gutsy performance from a very talented Roosters team who were hurting from the week before.

Johnson wasn't 100%
TL went off early
Roache to the wing
Maumalo sin bin
Roosters offside all day

All that and we still won.

Today is a good day.

MOM Luke. Made heaps of metres and kicked 4 from 4. I don't care that they were all pretty easy, it's pressure moments and you have to take them.

Sadly true. Is Hingano good enough to bring up yet? I saw in the press that Nathan Cleary said if his father was still coach he wouldn't be in first grade. Maybe it is time to take a chance on a specialist player rather than a fill in. If Fusitua had been on the right wing we would have scored tries as well.

I was happy with Ken, I can see why people think he is another Manu, he turns as slow as an ocean liner.

If Tommy is out next week, I'd say Ata would definitely play.

Thought Fusitua and Ayshford were the pick of the backs. Some great D from the latter and superb under the high ball from the former. All the forwards stood up although was disappointed again with matulino. Not much energy and that hop skip and jump infuriates me. Charles P Gubb added some energy but it was defence that won us a tough grind
