Former Warrior Konrad Hurrell has been handed the unenviable task of helping to fix the Titans' shoddy right-side defence against a Parramatta team boasting one of the most lethal left sides in the Telstra Premiership.

Hurrell will make his debut for the Gold Coast on Saturday night in Darwin after completing the team's final training run in hot and humid conditions in the Northern Territory on Friday afternoon, taking the place of former Eels junior Nathan Davis at right centre.

Just had a good think about this one, Eels left edge of Edwards, Mau, Jennings and Semi, and they're putting Kon in to solve the defensive issues, thats straight out hilarious, I'm going to put up a $1000 in the new betting category on Kon spending time down injured, any takers??

Semi to score a try would be a pretty safe bet too IMO.

Well he can't do much worse than Davis- he had a shocker last week.
Those eels outside backs prob can't expect too much quality ball anyway looking at their spine.
I'll be tuning in to find out that's for sure.
On a bit of a side note I wonder if there's an agreement in place regarding hurrell if we meet the Titans in the finals? ( sounds a bit crazy but these two teams finishing 6th and 7th isn't that far fetched).

To be fair to Davis its about the most Inglis has done all year and the Bunnies were getting a fair old beat down until GI decided to do something, I still cant believe that went Golden the fuckers.

Spending time down injured to cover up that he is exhausted which covers up his defensive issues.

The Titans coaching staff surely know what his game is like on both sides of the ball. I know they need to talk him up after signing him but saying he'll fix up their defensive issues is a stretch. If he didn't have defensive issues he'd more than likely be playing the Knights instead of the Eels this weekend and have been playing first grade regularly.
