i'm more worried about Shaun Johnson and our kicking game than whether our centres will be ok. Everything flows from controlling possession and position. Cheap turnovers, poor kicks, errors in our own half overplaying our hand. That is what will cost us.
playing like the old Warriors....So playing like the Warriors will cost us games...hmmm, that may be a problem.
Hope the Warriors like the Heat
its going to be 35 degrees tomorrow where they are playing.
The Aussie Players like Lillyman, Robson & Hoffman should come into their own.
Also Shek, & Luke who have done time in Aussie
The Heat drains the energy out of you.
Especially if you are a Big Guy..

Facts and logic don't change the consistently observed habit of these guys melting in the sun..It's been 30c and 100% humidity in Auckland throughout January and February - a dry 35c in Sydney tomorrow is no excuse.
The thing is, when the Cowboys play us at Mt Smart at night in August, they don't sit around shivering. They all chuck big chunky sumo suit jackets on...We can't keep letting our guys off with the heat excuse.
Making excuses for them isn't gonna help them in any way, they're professionals at the end of the day and have to win regardless, there's not an asterisk at the bottom of the trophy saying "Warriors would have won if they didn't have to play in the heat/past their bedtime/travel"
I'm sure the Tigers don't exactly like playing in the heat either

When we head over and play in the heat we can't exactly get naked, down to the undies of course, and hop in the paddling pool at half time now can we.
But is that going to translate into performance during a sunny day game? They have been training in 30c heat and 100% humidity since Xmas.

That's my point. A team coming from hot conditioning can come to a cold climate and deliver the goods, but a team coming from a cold climate will always be burning under the sun in the warmer weather...I don't fucking know - all I said it that it's no excuse given the conditions they have been training in plus the fact that the Cowboys can beat us in Auckland in August.

Cappy has already failed this season by not getting the squad conditioned for hot weather footy IMO... They are going to melt. It's happened too many times before for me to believe otherwise.
And I might be a cu** (good cu** that is), but I'm never a twat...
