Looked like a double movement to me...

Wow how fast was that call from the third ref...

I thought in real time, he hadnt stpped moving forward. But the multi angle slow mo converted me

Great sideline call. Great to see him make a call

I love hearing how bennet teaches his team to play professionally to finish out a game. Wonder what cappi teaches the warriors

I would love to see some stats on the 2 teams use of the interchange. Who at what time ? Did they use them all or hold one back? Etc

Does the onfield refs call of try or no try have any bearing on the decision made in the bunker like last year? Or is it irrelevent now?

Broncos win 13 plus. And I took Paramatta Eels in my survivor pick. I'm such a dumbass ... :(
Why??? Foran had been strongly linked to not playing all week.

Oh well you got 2 strikes left anyway, go for dead certs early on man. But then again theres always heaps of upsets early on in the season lol

Parra did well without their first choice halves out, and had a couple of great chances. They will only get better.

What difference that bunker made.

Clear, concise and quick decisions... All from the relatively pressure free environment of the bunker. Couldn't have asked for a better advertisement for its effectiveness. Let's hope that continues.

When you hear what he says about football or people talk about his sides it all sounds simple. It would be great to hear him talk about the game at length. Maybe when he is no longer coaching as a lot of what he says no is evading or deflecting the media.

He has said the rosters he has inherited were in reasonable shape but he does turn clubs around quickly where his sides are playing smart disciplined football.

Does this game feel faster and more flowing? Imagine it without scrums
The shot clock was getting criticized during the pre-season as guys were saying it's to long and they can drag it out and have a break. That was with unlimited interchange not the new 8 interchanges in place for the NRL season. I had a few things I needed to do last night and in previous years I'd do that during breaks in play, last night those breaks seemed to turn around a lot quicker.

The double movement they switched to the bunker right away and it didn't look like the guys in the bunker had time to watch the incident a couple of times before the ref ruled on it or it got sent up stairs like it was described when the bunker was first announced. The ruling was turned around quickly.

Some of the commentators the last few years have complained a lot about the length of the time for the decision and the decisions being wrong. The decisions being turned around so fast last night was great as we could move on instead of diagnosing the incident to death.

The speed of the game and how athletic the guys are will mean there are some really hard decisions to test the bunker and with the amount of money invested in it there will be pressure for the majority of the decisions to be correct. But so far I'm loving the quick decisions and getting the game moving.

The big test will be Saturday when the side we are more invested is playing.;)

Bunker looks good, agree the faster you come to a decision, the less moaning there is.

Looks like we get the fox coverage where 9 is also doing it, so, that’s the end of Rabs for NZ viewers then? Unless its origin? Also means the end of Ray Hadley one can hope.

Game seemed pretty quick, could be good for us, our runners should threaten late in halves, also bad for us, more sets, more defending, more chances to leak points.

Eels looked sloppy, fair enough as they finished the game without their halves, but Brisbane seemed to be barely get out of 2nd gear for the last 60 minutes, never really challenged.

Do Channel 9 have exclusive rights to Origin and the Finals? In that case I'm guessing we'll get Channel 9's coverage then.

Last night's coverage was quite refreshing with Voss calling. More discussion on the football and not sea gulls and what is wrong with the sport.

The speed of the game could kill us if our defense doesn't hold. But on the flip side if we defend well we would be a nightmare of a side to play against in a fast paced game opening up for Johnson, Luke and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to do their thing.

We have to get through the Tigers first but next week against the Broncos is going to be tough.
