Kevin Locke? BTW, isn't there some rule against players (was Manu a player if he was injured) getting on their cell phones during games due to betting?

Here's my rule: If the Warriors are playing, the injured (and non-injured Warriors have to watch them play. I know it's a big sacrifice, but with some proper motivation, I think it's doable.
I've just worked it out..... Manu was texting Knobby, telling him a place just opened up at the Warriors, not to sign with the DragQueens and gave him JD's cellphone number.

I have heard of mountains out of mole hills, this is the Southern Alps. Were BHenry and Manu watching the game in the changing rooms as a support for injured players, if so he could have been texting for any number of reasonable reasons.

Miket, I knew you were smart. I could just tell...Yes, Benry and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck were watching the game. Manu was texting his church to find out when the next movie night was. BTW, I think he's supposed to play against the Storm (Round 8) unless he has a prior engagement. How much are we paying him?

Well, I have this absolute need for excellence in my own life, and carry that over to people I love and teams I respect. I expect nothing but hard out effort, and performing to the best of their ability. Nothing else comes close. As far as the Warriors are concerned, i can't understand how a team can take the field and walk or trot back on defense instead of running back and coming off that line hard. I mean, they got something better to do? They ARE professional athletes! They should be fit. They should have the best intentions. And when they hit a ball runner, why not hit that runner the hardest they can? And when they run, run all out. And when Shauny J kicks the ball, the wingers (and centres) go hell for leather to jump their highest to bother the ball catcher or catch it and score. It's only for 80 minutes. They DO get a break in between.

And when they are training, same thing. And that defensive coach, Morgan, needs to teach them defense until it's second nature when they play. And Cappy needs to have his team ready, minus Robson, from the beginning of the season. Hit the ground running.

And the injured players need to watch the game for 80 minutes. Then they can text.

Thanks for letting me speak. My wellbeing is restored.

Nah, he ain't a ball distributor and by the sounds of it Ata Hingano already shits on Tui's playmaking abilities.

BUT what he does have is freakish abilities ala SUPER quick out of the blocks and fast feet, and some weight in the hips to throw into the defence. Sounds an awful lot like James Roberts and he's a deadly weapon for the Broncos. Now we have our own.

As always with any player changes we want to happen are imminent, an injury fucks things up lol. We won't see it tested this year now, unless Henare Wells forces his way into FB, leaving Lolo to go back to 6 and Tommie interchange with Luke (as Cappy intended in the first place).

You know I always wanted to see Hohaia play at 6 alongside Stacey, but circumstances never allowed it to happen after his first major injury and they never re-visited that idea. I hope that history doesn't repeat itself here.

Nah it's only when we're starting off our sets on a kick return and everyone is still getting onside. Every team does it
Nah i noticed he did it like every ptb in a couple of sets. And in others he did it 1 or 2 times. Funnily enough I read a herald article during the week that explained the strategy...
