rekt

neither winger touched the ball in attack

neither kata or ayshford got the ball in space

those who think we did well or should have won are delusional

broncos let us play as much as we wanted to, our best never looked threatening

There's something missing with this team. I cant put my finger on it but everyone looks so pedestrian on the field. No sense of urgency or hunger. Its just an odd dynamic at the moment. Is it the coach? a lack of leadership on the field? I don't know but we need more change or it will be the same shit ass house conversation week in and week out for the next 6 months...

The score has pretty much were we are at against the bookies favourites. The grit was good, most of the team showed real heart, injuries took us out of contention. Even Robson, despite being average all round, did some good things.

Kata is my MOTM and I've been as critical of him as anyone here. Manu dug hard as well. Lolohea did a ton of work.

Hoffman is rubbish on both sides of the ball and he made less than half the tackles than Thompson. Have we had a Storm discard that was worth the money we've paid them?

Johnson was doing way too much work off the ball to be able to do anything with it.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is the biggest disappointment for me, I'd probably prefer Tomkins back, at least he tries to tackle and contributes in the attack.

Much better effort than last week, pretty happy about that.

We came to play.
We dominated the Broncos in the first half every where bar the score board.

We lost two interchanges, and under the limited interchange rule you should expect that to hurt sides.

Lay aside the Warrior angst and look at reduced interchange and accept losing two planned replacements will equate to a serious hit to your team.

The players we lost were from our defensive areas of most scrutiny.....as such...I recon Wayne Bennet should be pissed that his stacked Broncos side couldn't thump the Wounded Warriors.

Kata made some good tackles.....Blake Ayshford was the man....arguing with the trainers to stay on.

Isaac Luke should give himself an upper cut for being unfit this year.

Looking forward to next weeks team naming, hoping Ayshford is cleared, hoping Allwood comes in.....hoping Henare Wells or Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad are fit to go.

The Warriors weren't perfect tonight, but they were brave.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck hasn't been as good as Tompkins yet

Jeff Robson I would change him for lolhea and give him a few weeks with Johnson his speed In the middle might help with the defense cause robson leaves a tunnel for them to go though also we need Vete
Yeah Robsons defence is a big concern, he was leaving some yawning gaps out there

We as fans need to understand that this team will take time, just like any side with this many new players, to click. I remember clearly, Anthony Milford was being torn apart playing at 6, the media giving him no hope and now look at him..give this team time

Something i did notice out there tonight was heart. We were severely under the pump for the remaining 30mins having lost a quarter of our substitutions through injury, which also resulted in a huge reshuffle. We had Kata on the wing. RFM and Roache defending at centre. Our forward pack really stood up tonight against a hugely talented Bronco's outfit.

I do however, hold mixed emotions. While on one hand I am pleased with the improvement shown compared with last week, i love what Lisone and Gavet bring to our pack, our sets were starting off fantastic, our edge defence WAS improved until injuries struck, and we stayed in the arm wrestle for most of the match. That final 30 was hard to watch, but our side never gave up, never stopped tackling their hearts out, for that I am happy. Also, Lillyman and Matulino were beasts tonight. Bodene Thompson was my warriors MOM by far..

However.....what the fuck is Luke up to? He is one of our marquee players, yet looks completely disinterested and is a complete shadow of the player I remember! Roger Tuivasa-Sheck missed a number of crucial tackles tonight, and does not appear to be even close to breaking the line..shaun johnson didn't take the line on once tonight..and our captain Ryan Hoffman making 73 metres from 12 hitups and 19 tackles in 80mins of football, including two errors..this is not good enough from our experienced captain..lead from the front for god sake - a terrible night.

Overall, an improvement. I knew we would not come away with the two points, but i saw a desire and passion in this warriors team and we were right in it until the injuries struck and resulted in a re-shuffle. This is not an excuse, it is however, understandable.

Three new spine players in their second game together.

Luke was showing his skills, but faded.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is still finding his place in the squad. Remember he's still young.

Robson is an organizer so he'll take some time to get his head around the guys he's organizing

Shaun Johnson playing a new role off the back of Luke and Robo...

When these guys settle in, and they will, we'll look a lot better on attack..

The Team looked like they were playing with more heart, even tho they were heavily fatigued at the end...

Selector

Why on earth do we need to decide a position? He's a stand-off because Shaun Johnson is our halfback. Simple

I agree he's a 6. But McFadden dosen't see him as a 6. That's why they bought Robson. If I'm been honest I think Lolohea would be better served for his career to go some where he was guaranteed to play in the halves. He won't reach potential under the current coach he is playing for.

So just about every player in the team has been named by a "fan" as being mud.
I thought we had a good crack.
Much improved in d.
Can't believe Manu is getting bagged...apart from getting injured he didn't do anything wrong.
Robson had a go but TL will jump straight in.
Hoffman was crap.
Brodine gets better every week.
Kata improved.
We love playing the Storm...bring it.

Every loss is hard to take. This week is a little easier than last week. A more improved effort. A real shame we are in such a rut with 10 losses I'm seeing positives in a lost by 15 points.:(

The injuries happened to the worst possible positions seeing as most sides don't set their bench for injuries nowadays but more for impact. Trying to cover for two outside backs really stretches things. An outside back and a forward would have been a little easier.

A lot more heart shown in this game compared to last week. Standouts were probably Thompson, Mannering, Lisone.

Reading one of the threads this morning had a lot of photos of the Tigers game showing our defensive issues. That also show how well structured the Tigers were. Watching us tonight we seemed too flat. No shape more everyone standing out in a line.
