Hurrell "would" have won that game for us

That's 10 losses in a row and counting. Yes there were injuries but don't let that hide from the fact that there are still defensive issues. And what was most alarming was just how poor the team was attitude at times during the game especially conceding a penalty for failing to pack the scrum in time.

Any way time for a change in coach before it's too late.

I honestly think we could have won that if not for the injuries and the perplexing decision to go for goal when all the momentum was in our favour. Whoever called that is a fucking moron.

Better performance than I'd expected, worse than I'd hoped for. Cappy is a dead man walking imo.

Better than last week. Really up against it once we lost two backs to injury. We had a backrower and back up hooker at centre, a transplanted half on the wing and a Kata on the wing. Not that you would have noticed it because our edge defense is the same regardless.

The decisions get interesting for next week. Will we see Hurrell or not? Ayshford should be fine, but Manu won't be.

The big disappointment is our attack really. Our forwards do nothing but amble up to the line and very rarely look to push through the line or create an offload.With Luke, Shaun Johnson, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck in the team you need offloads, it's really that simple, and our forwards just run in straight lines, which is nice to an extent but it makes it very easy for the opposition to line them up.

Some pretty harsh criticism given the injuries, travel, playing the competition favourites at home who had an extra 2 days recovery. Hoffman is a liability however and has been since early last season. Very ordinary player these days unfortunately and we're paying him big money.

Improved defence this week but that alleyway on the left hand after Jeff Robson is unacceptable. People are scoring touch tries through there.

Can anybody say why the fuck Issac Luke is so unfit? He's gone from an 80 minute player to being completely gassed after 50. Seriously WTF! I know he came back 6 kilos overweight but to be so underdone when he actually came back to preseason early is fucked. There has to be something we dont know.

Feel for Nathaniel Roache getting thrown to the dogs like that. Guys still U20 eligible and gets thrown out to centre. Baptism by fire.

Really hope we see Konrad Hurrell back in but hope Blake Ayshford isnt injured. His defence is on point most of the time.

Whats happening with Ryan Hoffman? Been named captain and he goes from Hoffman to Soffman. That last play where knocked the ball on at our line he was legless.

Kind of expected this loss but that doesnt make it any easier. Round 18 last season was so so long ago. Lucky Im a boss or I'd probably be close to suicide

Not looking forward to the Storm but happy to go home to Mt Smart...

Need to be able to play 2 halves of football in the same game. No good having a good first half this week and a good second half last week.

Obviously, the injuries and substitutions had an impact, but still enough shit to be worried.

On a side note, if Cappy has really only got a handful of games to sort this rabble out, we shouldn't buy or release any players.

Defence is too flat footed...attack is way to deep and too easy to pick off. We lose the ruck battle when in defence too often leaving allowing their dummy half easy metres or gaps behind the ruck.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck cannot tackle one on one.

Johnson was poor tonight. Live by his actions and die by them.
Brandy Alexander was bang on with his criticism of Johnson tonight. No point kicking early if nobody else is expecting it. No point kicking early when hot on attack unless you are getting a sure try.

Cappy's use of the bench was again....fucking dumb. We only have 8 interchanges and he saved 1 up to use with 90 seconds to go!!! What's the fuck for when th team was absolutely gassed with 20 to go???

Ayshford was a passenger when out there in both attack and defence. I'd rather have Koni on attack if that's what we get!
