I hope you dont think Canberra were hard done by, they were blatantly milking penalties and the refs finally grew some balls and denied them. Austin should have been sent off 1 minute before the other guy came back from the sinbin. he grabbed the tackled players leg and just didnt let go, a penalty was given but it was another professional foul

against the Warriors the raiders did the same thing, warriors were on attack hard on the Raiders line and they just wouldnt get off the ball carrier after the tackle

all true to be fair. That second Storm try where Tohu Harris Harris created a clear obstruction by stopping in the line preventing a defender probably warped my perception of the rest of that game.

I know they were going alright both sides of the ASADA investigation. But looking at how much of a mess they were two years ago it does show how quickly you can turn things around in this competition. Just giving us some hope for next year.

Watching the finals with the increased atmosphere. Imagine if we had more of that during the year.

The NRL give Sydney teams a leg up every time they fall. Hence why our team always has greater odds to overcome.

Whoever said cheating doesn't pay.

The Storm can afford to keep the big three under the cap these days, and sneak some big forwards in, because they paid them so damn much outside the cap years back that the players are still well ahead.

The Sharks may no longer have peptides in their systems, but the bulk put on and the fitness that they were able to achieve while they were taking them are still there.
Like an Olympic athlete who gets his edge with banned substances, then stops taking them a few months out to avoid testing positive. The physical benefits remain for some time.

In my opinion this final and they eventual winners Title are tainted.

Can't wait until the 'Big Three' and Gallen retire, so I can at least admire these teams for their effort and ability.
Until then, I can't have any respect for these teams.

This is the worse possible Grand Final for me. Nobody to get behind. A non-event on what should be the biggest stage.

Sorry hasnt played yet but was 18th man last year, and has earmarked for origin for a long time. Served ban this year for playing up at their qld emerging camp along with others earlier this year. Just dont get what they see in him.

I used to think Parra and Hindmarsh were hard done by in the year they lost the GF to the Storm, largely due to the salary cap rort. But this years events suggests that Parra were rorting the cap themselves that year so screw them both. I've moved on cos their all cheating in one way or another.
