I know it doesn't look to professional the NRL not having the dates for the semi locked up. But I had to laugh at Bennett saying it isn't fair that they don't know when they are playing which makes it hard to prepare.
Yes he is correct but this is classic Bennett. Get the media talking about something else instead of any issue with his side and let his side prepare.
Mind you if you were the one side pretty much playing Friday night for the last X amount of years. You would also be frustrated all of a sudden either not knowing what day you are playing or all of sudden have to play on a Sunday.

The other thing this week. Both of the Cowboys captains couldn't make it to Sydney for the launch. They are probably both carrying niggles but it seem every year there is an issue getting down to Sydney from Townsville.
Ok firstly I wish we had that problem in terms of not wanting to disrupt our preparation for the semi finals.
But I do think we should implement co-captains but instead of two of the best players use a fringe first grader like Charlie Gubb. Send him to the launch at the start of the game and let everyone else train. We could then sack him from the co-captaincy for round 1 but we might want to keep it up our sleeve for later in the year.

After Ennis got off the focus moves to getting Wighton off. Anyone watching NRL 360 this week? We get the definitions of a should charge and that his arms are located. Also saw an article about Jason Croker pointing out this could ruin their season and the NRL is always picking on the Raiders.
All I keep thinking of poor Charlie.
Charlie's shot wasn't a fold your arms up, brace and hit side on. It was a nice shot. Sure he has priors but it still seems harsh.
Playing here in NZ we weren't allowed to shoulder charge but it seemed like the definition was all over the place depending on the ref. All we needed was our best players to do it before the finals.

Still cant believe Ennis got off that blatant late shoulder charge. Shit like that is what pisses fans off. Just read the raiders fb got off his shoulder charge judiciary hearing and it showed video of it an mic inis one as well. What a fuckin dirty double standard bunch them pricks are. Gubb got how long? Its these fools who are ruining the game. This year has got to be the worst for bullshit calls

Jack Wighton cleared to play for Canberra Raiders
An elated Jack Wighton is free to play in Canberra's qualifying final after being found not guilty of a shoulder charge.
The NRL judiciary panel of Sean Garlick, Royce Ayliffe and Mal Cochrane took just five minutes to find Wighton not guilty of the grade-two shoulder charge on Wests Tigers forward Joel Edwards.
Wighton faced a four-match ban if found guilty on Tuesday night at Rugby League Central.
"It was good to get the result. I can't wait to get out on the park on the weekend. I was always confident. I always had faith," Wighton said.
"It was just one of those tackles that looked worse than what it was.
"It has been a long day, a rough start to the week and it is good to get it over with.
"I am just really excited about the weekend."

I think Charlie Gubb was surprised as well. The Raiders are annoyed that their preparation was interrupted, they should be feeling lucky they have one of their best players for the next few weeks. Stuart also wants to comment on the judiciary process after the competition is completed, you know cause it's annoying for your players to get charge when that wasn't a shoulder charge.

Opened my big mouth to my older brothers last night and said if the Titans win tonight , they will make it to the 2nd to last week.
Bloody 5 to many Jack Daniels.
