Storm v Raiders final, just to piss off the NRL that there is no sydney or brisbane team in the big game. which i dont think has ever happened.

While the Warriors still piss me off, I am even more fucked off with the NRL for this, how the fuck did Wighton get charged then Ennis did not, and don't go on with these bullshit excuses of where the arm is, makes no fucking difference. Lets not forget Blake Green was on the ground for quite a while. Seriously so over this bias and corrupt organisation.
Wighton facing NRL finals suspension
Canberra fullback Jack Wighton has been charged with a grade two shoulder charge from the match against the Wests Tigers yesterday.
The offence carries a base penalty of 350 points but, because the player has two prior offences in the last two years, it increases to 490 points.
With an early plea the penalty can be reduced to 367 points.
Match Review Committee Coordinator Michael Buettner said there was a clear difference in the tackle performed by Sharks hooker Michael Ennis who was not charged and the Wighton tackle.
"We look for three key indicators when determining whether a shoulder charge has been made," Mr Buettner said.
"They are:
1. The upper arm of the defender must be tucked in to his side at contact.
2. The defender is making no attempt to wrap in the tackle with both arms
3. There is forceful contact by the defender to any part of the body of the attacking player.
"If all three of these indicators are clearly identified in an incident then a player will be charged with a shoulder charge.
"In the case of Michael Ennis, it’s very clear that the left arm of Ennis is away from his body and not tucked into his side.
"So no charge was laid.
"In the Wighton incident the MRC was satisfied that all three indicators were present and so a charge has been laid."
An NRL spokesman said Wighton could appeal the charge or the grading at the Judiciary if he chose to do so.

They aren't rigging the draw to suit them (this week anyway) the wallabies have the springboks on saturday in brisbane, booked the ground first, otherwise it would have been the saturday game.
but asking the broncs to play on sunday in the daylight - now that would be an outrage

Idk I just heard Ryan James on the radio and he said they were told 5th v 8th would be a Sunday game then the draw was released and bang the Broncos get the fri game again.

James must be thicker than he looks, the broncos don't play in the daytime, everyone knows that's an immutable law of the NRL!

Paul Kent said on 360 last night that the NRL hadn't booked Suncorp and only found out on Saturday night that the Wallabies had booked it already for the Saturday night. Amateurs!!!

So they can turn around the stadium from Friday to Saturday but not Saturday to Sunday? Still some bullshit going on there...
