Excited to see Lino play this weekend, Chad may as well pack his bags, watching him play is more frustrating than listening to a des Hasler stuttering interview. All the best Mase!!!

Any tactical hints you got from watching? Should have brought a tequila bottle and placed it in the middle with a map to k road and left. By kickoff they would have three at least stood down.Yeah I was exceptionally lucky enough today to be at Cornwall Park in Auckland and watch Cowboys put in a practice run and I hate to say it being a NZ Warriors fan but dude did Cowboys look good. From their ball awareness to their ball handling skills to ability play it at speed to just their general communication to each other between plays-these guys have got it all going on !

I think some of you are going to see the gap between NSW cup and first grade. I'm sure Lino will do his best, but he is in for a tough day. Chad has been playing injured for a number of weeks so doesn't surprise me he is injured for this game. As far as combos between Lolo and Lino, I don't think there will be many opportunities to see it and the U20's doesn't count for much IMO. Cowboys 13+ easy. We will struggle to hold the ball and create any pressure, and they will roll through both sides of us instead of just the right like it has been all season.
Now slightly more interested in this game.
I think there are 2 possible outcomes, Lino does quite well and unequivocally demonstrates how horrific Townsend has been over the past month, or Lino sucks too, and anyone who is tasked with leading these blokes around is on a hiding to nothing.
Also, do we have any other fullback options? How many halves would have to go down before tomkins is placed there?

Chad has been great most of the year people are quick to forget. As soon as he announced he was leaving it was like watching a James Maloney Replay.

I'm expecting Tui to lead the boys around the park, with Lino being the steadying hand a.k.a sticking to the basics. Hopefully his kicking game translates into the big time.I Don't think it's fair throwing Lino into a underperforming side & expect Him to lead them around the park.

And that is being generous.I think he's been poor to middling his entire time here?
Agree it's not fair but with the injuries we have and our depth it's pretty much our only choice. We either disrupt the team further and put Tomkins in the halves and find another fullback or bring in a half and play with the two youngsters.I Don't think it's fair throwing Lino into a underperforming side & expect Him to lead them around the park.
