Agreed. They're indecisive. But they are good in finals. I think they were expecting an easy prep for finals. But we came up with a random good game.

Pisses me off how much hate Kata cops - still young still has a shit load to learn. Runs hard, not as bad on defense as he's touted to be - he rushes in but that's what happens when you learn off Manu.

Those who compare to Hurrell - come back when he can play all 26 games for 80 mins.

It's just the little things the rushing out of defence and taking no one consistently and not learning from it. Even on attack the try he scored the easier option would have been to pass to his winger who was free, instead he took the harder option of going himself.

He's our leading try scorer and has played every minute of every game this season. Something none of our outside backs have done.
Oh and its his first year of NRL.
Just because Lolohea is God Level good doesn't mean Kata is shit.

Silly errors cost us again. Story of our season really. From the rookies to the veterans they all made them.

So pissed cause we should have won that. I appreciate the Doggies were off their game but thats no reason not to stamp your foot on their throat.

Glad we didnt lose by the huge margin most were predicting but still bitter that we didnt close it out.

The refs did their best to get the Doggies the win with some really shit penalties. The Josh Jackson forward pass that led to James Grahams try was a kick in the teeth. To get penalised for an involuntary tackle when the whole comp does it was pathetic. Just like when we got penalised for shielding the catcher when teams have been doing it all season. Some real BS right there.

Good game from Tuimoala Lolohea and Bodene Thompson. Bar his errors I thought Mason Lino looked good too.

Solomone Kata is looking more and more out of his depth every week. His defence really is crap. Even when he makes the right call his arms leading approach see's his short ass fended more times than not. Dont need another 10 years of soft edge defence do we?

Albert Vete is a beast. He's going to be a cornerstone of our prop rotation for years to come if the club dont lose him.

Wonder where this fighting spirit has been the last few games? Still injury ravaged but the heart was there which counts for a lot.

Another season done. Another season no finals footy. Gonna be a LONG off season...

Can't be mad, had a dig, moral victory, they should get a bit out of that, finishing 11th or 13th who cares.

Lolohea does look a lot better at fullback, even Chad played well!

Great effort Boys very proud to be a warriors fan with that effort.
I must have been sitting side on to the telly cause I thought in the bulldogs last try the ball was passed forward twice,
Chad were has that kicking game been all season, any way a good way to end the season gives us some hope for next year.

The boys showed a bit of character and did have a couple of rough decisions, but we are our worst and most fatal enemy and have the ability to steal defeat from the jaws of victory better than any team in the NRL.
Mind blowing stupidity has become part and parcel of our genetic make up. Friends pass to Lisone is a prime example of the failure to deliver the type of senior leadership required for the young guns .Time for Change

Gutted to lose that one, but at least the Warriors finally showed a bit of heart, spirit & character which has been sorely lacking in the last two months

If only for some better handling in the first half & that solitary mistake in the second half & we could have really stuck one up the Dogs, oh well it is what it is

No he's not shit but his D is. At the moment, or definitely not where our team
needs it to be , For me personally D first We now have a spine that will create
opportunities, But we got to be able to lock out the opposition , So I'd have him back
in reserve grade till he's ready ,,,

My faith is renewed. The young ones will be better next year with more seniors around them onfield.

But I think Manu, Kata, Hurrell is a recipe for disaster. Hurrell needs a solid defender beside him. Not a good attacker. I think Wright could be the answer.

Kata for mine shouldn't be in the same backline as Manu and Konnie. They need solid partners. I don't think Wright Kata Fusitua Duffy has enough venom to win a game either.

The fact people say to leave Kata alone because he scores tries is the problem. We have to stop making excuses for defensive liabilities, error-prone, butter-finger players.

Even Manu's value is waning for me. But I'd still keep him for another year. The thing is even with his frailties he has more than one string to his bow that compensates for his mistakes Kata's upsides are limited.

I can see Cappy has tried to set standards. But it takes time for the whole club to be on the same page. Cappy's choices are limited for now. If he sacks people he hasn't much to fall back on. Perpetual sackings are not feasible. Yet it would raise standards. The young guys need to be hungry like Lisone and Vete were. Not acting like they've hit the big time already.

Only hungry players should make it.

Exactly. The basic plays are the ones he misses. Our talented players have long had that issue. Notice how he gets caught too close infield, leaving a gap between him and the winger? He doesn't have game smarts. That's why we can't have Manu/Kata/Hurrell in combo.

I agree, the Warriors cannot be expected to defend a set after a penalty, they just can't do it
