My wish for the day - carry on from last week: forwards set the platform, patience, halves controlling the game and backs running riot. Add pressure upon pressure with few missed tackles and errors and a kicking game which pins the opposition down in their half.

I would have the exact same wish list.

I'm keen to see what happens with Johnsons game.....since Canberra are one of his Patsies.

If Johnson carves two weeks in a row.....does he get the extra Aus media attention......which has never been a good thing

I was hoping/praying, not that Wright was injured, but that he wasn't pulled out of the NZWarriors as FG cover for an injury that had already occurred. I was very relieved to see that the team will be still 1-17 as announced.

Now, as long as all the players get through the warm-up.

The Vodafone Warriors will run out as selected in today’s 16th-round NRL clash against the Canberra Raiders at Mount Smart Stadium (5.00pm kick-off; match day sponsor: flava).

Head coach Andrew McFadden has confirmed the side will start 1-13 as named earlier in the week. The bench is unchanged with Jonathan Wright brought in as 18th man.
