NRL 2015 - Rnd 14 - Warriors vs Roosters Gameday Chatter

NRL+Rd+11+Titans+v+Warriors+KyMxJlaLh94x.jpg

Time to get the beers in, put on your favourite jersey and if youre in town get to the park. Its game day.

After a torrid start to the year, the Titans well and truly have their season back on track, breaking into the top eight with a win over Canterbury on the weekend. They have a mounting injury toll to key positional players with hookers Beau Falloon, Kierran Moseley and Matt Srama all out and young halfback Kane Elgey sidelined for the next three weeks with an ankle problem.

The Warriors suffered a second-half fadeout against the Sydney Roosters last week and will be desperate to atone. It's unknown if Ryan Hoffman will take the field for the Warriors because of a head knock suffered on Wednesday night, after sustaining two concussions in the previous month.

The Titans stopped a run of eight straight losses to the Vodafone Warriors when they won 32-28 at Mount Smart Stadium on Anzac Day. The overall record is 10-7 in the Vodafone Warriors’ favour while they have won five out of eight on the Gold Coast.

Although not named Sam Tomkins has traveled with the team and will no doubt be given every opportunity to to prove his fitness.

Can the Warriors replace the Titans in the Top 8? We'll have our answer soon enough.

i have decided the best way to deal with the being a warriors supporter is to bet on the Titians to win.If the titans win i will not be happy they did but at least i get something from the game and if the warriors win then i will be happy but a little worse off in the pocket it's a win win situation.

Warriors to gift the titans some easy tries and give us heart palpitations once again. Maybe some sedatives are the way to go when watching this team?

As for the result, it's anyone's guess...

Hopefully Myles is out. If we can't beat this mob without so many of their Marquee players we don't deserve to be in the top 8.

(Our) Hoffman was outstanding in SoO. Hoping he can back up OK. Teams seem to be targetting his head now, or is that just that dirty cu** Hodges?

I'm picking that we blow the Titans off the park early. Be leading by plenty at half time, maybe 24-6. Second half will be closer maybe 12-12 for the half.

Warriors 36-16
MOM Kata 3 tries
First Try Scorer - Le Chad

Was 8 degrees here this morning 4kms from Robina. The 11 degrees is a beach reading so the weather should suit our guys be getting a bit cool in the Robina swamp by 530 Aussie time.
Few changes to the Titans team.
1 David Mead
2 Anthony Don
3 James Roberts
4 Nene Mcdonald (maybe number 20) new signing young fella
5 Kevin Gordon
6 Josh Hoffman
7 Aidan Sezer
8 Luke Douglas
9 Daniel Mortimer
10 Eddy Pettybourne
11 Ryan James
12 Dave Taylor
13 Lachlan Burr
14 Aganatius Paasi (been in good form)
15 Mark Ioane
16 Chad Redman (maybe number 19) new signing young fella
17 Mark Robinson

Some comments on this team , the 2 new guys have been released by other clubs prior to June 30.
Roberts had knee issues early in the week maybe an issue -lets hope!
Myles out -no loss I dont rate the guy-continually playing with injuries affecting his form.
Taylor playing for a contract may end up in centres.

Our side is lacking why did we let Suia go to the Roosters.
I suspect Paasi and Ioane will play strong against their old club.

Hard game to pick this one.

Titans 54-1
Chad kicks a field goal just before the halftime break to close the gap to 36-1
James Roberts scores seven tries, which leaves the Warriors left side defense scratching their heads when asked about Roberts try scoring haul after the game, commenting "was he even playing?...i dont remember seeing him!"
MOM-DCE for ensuring the Titans players are well and truly fucked off.

So another game where Shaun Johnson does nothing and gets out played by Chad?
