Already happening with pharmaceutical products.
All outlets chemists and supermarkets have not been able to sell certain flu and cold products and yes we all know why.
There's still plenty of other stuff to sell.
Just a thought

I can't get those day and night flu tablets anymore or anywhere.

Because the codine and other ingredients were used in producing social drugs.... not to do with ram raids. Plus, dairies would make far more profit from the sale of cigarettes than the occasional sale of cold remedies and other medications.

Understood just saying limited sales of certain products isn't new

But thinking that removing one product would stop ram raids of dairies like Nash has done is stretching things a bit. In fact, I'd put it up there with the LOTO declaring schools should reopen when slips are still occurring.

Yes again. I obviously agree with you and totally understand the logic or lack of.

What should he do about the recent case of the woman firing a gun towards police so that her kids can escape from a burglary

That is unbelievable 😳

It‘s incredibly sad what some parents will do to their children….and the circumstances that lead them there.

Yeah mate. Pseudoefedrine was the culprit, the crappy alternative Phenylphrine is not nearly as effective in handling colds and flu. Who knew growing up that we could have all been P addicts with a xmas chemistry set.

See one of the ideas new Police Minister Stuart Nash has to stop dairies being ram raided is to stop them selling cigarettes.

Seems there's a couple of things wrong with this idea:
Why reduce the income of small business owners?
Who will then sell cigarettes and what's to prevent them from being targeted?
Why not extend the concept? Bottle stores should stop selling alcohol.... Michael Hill should stop selling jewelry.... Noel Lemming should stop stocking phones and tv's. Ram raids stopped!!
I didn't know that Stuart Nash said that, but I agree to an extent.

There is a massive black market for cigarettes, I don't know of any black market for the shite that Michael Hill sells.

However corner dairies perform a service, The problem is it probably wouldn't be worth it if they couldn't sell cigarettes.

Service Stations are filling that market now, and they are not easy to ram raid.
