Who cares, Simons not the PM and “running” the country. You know what really surprises me, how little coverage Winston’s death got in the media.
At least I presume he’s dead since the second most important politician in the country is making as much noise as a dead man.
The PMs doing fine - its just insecure middle aged men who get all butthurt about her.
At least she hasn't done a fashion show like JK yet...

I hope your going to enjoy her next term as PM, because as long as National keep peddling negative PR tactics instead of coming up with their own transformative policies that resonate with the public - they stand no chance at winning the next election

Bullshit...she is as shallow as fark. A shocking sexual assault in her own party and Miss We TOO goes all wobbly at the knees. Then says she didn't know. WTF, if she didn't know she is deaf, dumb and blind. This is turning into a good one. Every porky needs another ten to cover it and this one has legs that will keep it going for weeks.

If you're truly unbiased - can you point out anything that the government has done that is good?

Edit: this was directed at the people death riding the government. Easy to point out the flaws - the opposition are doing all the work for you.

Literally the only people who don't like her are scare middle aged men.
Every where else in the world she is revered and admired. You and surfin surfin are just proving this.

& how about Paula Bennett attacking Labour on their stance on the assault - when she is on tape telling Jamie Lee Ross she would sweep his complaints under the carpet due to medical issues. Hypocrites and lightweights in the National Party...

So it was insecure middle aged men that were allegedly sexually assaulted. Is that where the butt hurt came from? And the prime minister found out about it only yesterday. Mate you don’t have to like Bridges, but if you honestly think she’s doing ok you’re very confused. Old what’s his face Trotter, as staunch a Labour supporter as you can get is saying in the media WTF is she up to. Honestly she’s either a liar or too stupid to be allowed to cross the road on her own if she didn’t know what was going on weeks ago.

Interesting article - from Chris Trotter

This is basically the root problem of all the major 'established' parties - they are there to win elections, making things better is very much second fiddle or no fiddle at all.

That’s what seems to be the problem with your blinkered views. This is about leadership not personalities. Homelessness up, suicide up, lack of housing worse than ever, no defined direction and a PM seemingly only concerned about Twitter, Facebook and speaking at the UN. You can blame John Key and National all you want but right now the biggest fuck up is the political party see is the head of and their very murky view of doing what’s right. Honestly she is either a liar or a fool, and I don’t think she’s a fool.

Transparency is key when shit storms like this occur - do the right thing. Winning is not more important. Jacinda clearly getting terrible terrible advice from within the party.
NZ politicians - suffering hubris since ages ago.

Your a fool if you thought those things were going to be solved in less than 2 years.
These problems have been festering for 20+ years.

Ahh the old ‘white middle aged men are scared’ trope that’s used as Armor to shield women from criticism.
World wide admiration is based on a photo op wearing a hijab and hugging a Muslim- the rest of the world literally know nothing else about her, not her party, not her policies etc.

I do wonder if Surfin, Matiunz and Bruce would be this bent out of shape if this was occurring within the National party.

Would you be as accepting of it if it was?

Each group will back their own horse, Jacinda for what little I know of her does present herself and by extension NZ well (so did Key even if it was as an embarrassing uncle type way at times), she also handled the Christchurch incident very admirably. The main problem I have with her is she hasn’t achieved anything of consequence but her supporters will scream the sexist card with vitriol any time she receives any criticism or call for accountability.

In reality it doesn’t really matter who is in power in NZ as it will regularly cycle through 2-3 terms of each party anyway with each one ‘fixing’ or ‘undoing’ the others ‘progress’ depending on what benefits you as an individual.

I didn't see you pass comment at all when National were covering up their sexual assault scandal.
Was that good leadership and handled better then the Labour scandal?
Did the labour assaults happen in parliament?
What was the result of the National review into MPs behaviour? Oh thats right swept under the carpet. Very transparent.

It's funny how it does seem to be fragile old men though who get the most wound up though - even just on this forum.

Therefore I’m not a fool. Go back to the start of this thread and that’s exactly what I said. Running around on the campaign trail saying you could fix it if elected was all Labour. Only the gullible actually voted on those promises and thought it would happen. Unfortunately these guys have not only failed to slow or even hold it at the same rate, it’s actually increasing. I praised her after Christchurch, but the world didn’t stop that day and governing the country still has to be the governments main priority. I don’t give a fuck if someone is mean to me on the internet, so don’t waste anymore air miles talking about it at the UN.

It’s not about the national party. FFS it’s about the people that made the complaints being stream rolled and the claims by Jacinda claiming she didn’t know about it. All politicians are on the wrong side of honesty but apparently she was the only person in NZ that hadn’t heard.

No, I think - from what I've read - that this a mishandled mess, that needs to be sorted asap. For the victims sake.
But the holier than thou attitude from the opposition and supporters is laughable.

FWIW: I didn't vote Labour, but I certainly lean left.

You do realise how fake this comes across when you weren't concerned one bit when it was a National MP sexually harassing people in Parliament.

Unemployment down. The Economy Growing. A bigger surplus then forecast.
The way you numpties were carrying after the election I thought we'd be bankrupt by now.

Oh and we have a PM that is admired overseas and not made funny of on US network TV.

Let's all agree - it takes ages to see progress either way, for good or bad.
Nationals - 9 years until we realised the country was being run into the ground.
Labour coalition - yet to be determined, but not many positives.

We should all be able to sympathise as Warriors supporters!
