The Tigers move is just so obvious about wanting to get the best possible coach, I think they will target Ciraldo, with Clears ex ties there, he may well endorse this one.
Ciraldo to the Tigers....Flannagan to the Bulldogs or that his NRL dream over.

Warriors who knows? Woolf or a smoky like Dean Young or Steve McNamara (he could bring his son with him as well).

Would the club consider Madge McGuire...I hope not.

Nathan Brown came off well in that interview. Also helped the club a bit as we didn't come off like a basket case.

The statements around covid are good to see out in the open. Not that the Aussies would care. But still, there is no doubting as much as the last few years have been unique and may have had some advantages it has done a lot of damage to the club. No top class rugby league in New Zealand and a big impact on our development.

If Cleary helped the Tigers get Ciraldo they might finally forgive him for ditching them.

I know people have joked Cleary would tell coaches to stay away from us. But I'd say he'd have a soft spot for the club and would likely speak well of the club and Auckland.

Wish NRL360 went on more about the accountability of the management for making these decisions would of liked them to bring up Robinson and George
Brown came off well and would have saved Robinson and George some bad press or from answering some hard questions. We aren't a club the Aussie journalists typically go and put a spotlight under. Rothfield has tried a bit the last few weeks trying to get answers out of George.

Agreed NB sounded good.
Noticed the panel never mentioned the name "Lodge ".
Wouldn't mind betting on the instructions of Brown.
If not Brown someone close to the team

What makes you think I dont watch every NRL round.? Given I had been in the NRL long before the Warriors even existed.....

What is it that we are so ignorant and unaware of? (given the position we were in)

You dont rate our Roster, under the circumstances, I do. Is it perfect, far from it, but its got potential to work with.
Our backline is atrocious - Walsh is trying hard but he has no support to speak of, our halves could not be playing worse, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is the biggest lip dropper in the comp and a disgraceful signing, we have no NRL quality centres. We are overpaying our two most experienced forwards, one of which is likely now past his best and the other has major injury concerns. Curran is awesome and Jazz tries his best however outside of that it’s not great. We have signed the least impressive of the Eels forwards for next season, again on overs, a young inexperienced half who I’m admittedly quite excited about but is largely unproven, and a specialist 14 who again has injury concerns and, based on his off field efforts, probably brings further dickhead factor to the club. We will still lack leadership. How is that possibly a top 6 roster?

Brown seems like a nice guy and says all the right things when a camera is on, and I'm sure it's the same behind the scenes as well.

Unfortunately he is responsible for one of the worst strings of performances I've seen in my time as a Warriors fan. He's lucky to have lasted this long. People can blame the players or whatever, but we know they have quality because we have seen them produce quality before. If they didn't want to do that for Brown, then that's on Brown. That's his job.

Good luck to him in whatever management type role he ends up in, because he's clearly still pretty good at that side of things.

Possibly but then we'd have to have seen some sort of structure consistent to how they played.

Which was not evident at all.
It was tho.

Our failed compressed edge defence leaving a short defensive line has been getting exsposed since last season is so obviously a coached structure or policy. Relying on inexperienced centres and edges to make the right read to leave their player and jam in is a hard ask at the best of times. We've been getting decimated on simple 2 out decoy plays all year.....and the game against the Sharks where they still managed to do that to us being 2 players short should've highlighted this to everyone.......and the thing for Brownie he had a potential fix for at least one of those edges with one of the best reading defensive centres in the game - Aitken.....at his disposal, stubbornly he just refused to move him.

We see a lot of teams now shifting the ball coming off their line to get wide of the fast rushing A and B defenders, how ever we stoically do a 1 out hit up after 1 out hit up.......asking no questions of the defence, allowing them to get numbers in the tackle slow down the play the ball, so when we do finally shift wide its to set defences, little wonder we're struggling to create anything.

Now Brown had attack and defence coaches who absolutely should fall on the sword as far as im concerned, but as head coach and seeing these things happen week after week after week without taking control and addressing them....in the end the buck stops with him.

Always amazed that posters on here aren't really happy about recruitment .Dallin Watene-Zelezniak was thought to be a reasonable signing and Montoya was in the main thought to be shit.
How did that go
